Isn’t it interesting how so many female celebs who are now gorgeous and famous beyond their wildest dreams all say they started out as an ugly duckling who had a hard time in high school?
Miley Cyrus is next in line to tell us that she was bullied when she was younger. She wrote about the experience in her upcoming memoir.
“The girls took it beyond normal bullying. These were big, tough
girls. I was scrawny and short. They were fully capable of doing me bodily
harm.”
At one point a group of girls called the Anti-Miley Club locked her in the bathroom,
“It seemed like Operation Make Miley Miserable was escalating to a
new level. More like Operation Take Miley Down.“Three girls strutted up and stood towering over me. My stomach churned. I
clutched my grilled cheese sandwich like it was the hand of my best friend.“It pretty much was my best friend those days. I was done for.
“They started cussing me and telling me to get up. I sat there, frozen. I
didn’t know what to do. Finally, I couldn’t take it anymore. I wasn’t
chicken.“What could they do to me? I was surrounded by people. I stood up, still a
foot shorter then they were, and said: ‘What’s your problem? What did I ever
do to you?’”
Can any INO readers identify with having such a truly miserable school experience?

I remember when I was in high school. I wasn’t physically bullied but… I remember girls would make me fight with other girls. They would say “She said this about you and stuff”, stuff I never said. Then the other girls would confront me in front of everybody and I got scared and looked guilty. I was also accused of stealing. I have to admit, I was weak, I never stood my grounds, the other kids would pin every little thing on me and I never said anything once. I feel bad now for being so weak and if I have a daughter one day, I will definitely teach her to be strong.

I’m not a fan of Miley, but I do feel sorry for her. Bullying has become an epidemic in this country. More laws are needed before it gets even worse.
I doubt that she was bullied, she just want people to have sympathy for her. I think she’s a racist spoil brat who got away with everything. I mean didn’t she do a video making fun of another fellow disney actress?? Didn’t we just see a picture of her making fun of chinese people?
When i was 7th grade they merged two middle schools..someone pretended to be me and IM’ed all the people i knew at school and told them all sorts of dirty crazy rude things..ppl would yell mean things to me in class and in the hallways..it was a miserable two years..
If she thinks thats bad she should have lived my school life.

I was also short and scrawny, I didn’t hit 5′ until I was almost sixteen, and somehow always got picked on by the boys. It wasn’t just verbal taunting, they would throw punches, trip me on the asphalt, throw basketballs at my head, tackle me down, all that stuff. I would get punched in the stomach by a group of guys in between my science and english classes, right in front of the dean, and no punishment would dissuade them.
Probably a main reason why I always hit the cajones as soon as a man threatens me.
She was bullied. Otherwise she wouldn’t tell the world internationalwide lies about her being a wimp. Now, would she? So she probably was. I think she’s just trying to be a “creative” writer. Too bad she’s not doing such a great job. She’s a singer, actress, and author. She’s won awards as a singer and actress but hasn’t gotten a Nobel peace prize for writing yet. She’s probably aiming for that. So she’s filling page of her pathetic book with exaggerated lies. I mean, sure she was bullied, but I highly doubt it’s to that extent where she was locked HER OWN locker without the hallway janitors or moniters or people passing by noticing.
Wow. She just has to admit that she can’t get everything. Sure, she’s a great actress and all, but SAVE THE SPOTLIGHT of Nobel peace prizes and intellectual awards for actual intellects who have a brain and not just glamor acting credentials.

I went to the school Miley is referring to in this. Which was a middle school, not a high school. She left Tennessee for Cali before she was even halfway through middle school. She is a liar. I know the kids that were actually in class with her and no, she was NOT bullied. She bullied others because of her father’s popularity and money. The bathrooms there are impossible to be locked in. I mean seriously. There is no way you can be locked in them. The stalls lock from the inside and even open to the inside and not out. & there aren’t really doors into the bathrooms. She lied as much as she could about this one.
People like you are the PROBLEM. You’re what’s wrong with this world. Whatever you put down in others is something you subconsciously detest within yourself. While you’re busy saying she’s ugly on the outside, go ahead and take a look at that ugliness you’ve got on the inside. You disgust me.
Thank you for saying that. Peer abuse is one of the worst things that’s happening to our kids and it’s ruining our culture. People can’t even be humane towards each other anymore, and it begins in school. We must teach our kids not to bully, and to be confident enough to deflect others’ bullying, or to get real help when things are too out of hand.

Nop i always stood my ground, and if anybody dare to bullied me they knew not to even try or they would end up with my foot in their a** and im a damm good looking ckick but didn’t have any reason to play Cinderella..who knows maybe if i ever become famous i’ll switch things up to make my self looke like a true Cinde-fvking-rella!!!

Gosh I HATE these stories. Everyone has a “woe is me” story but why does EVER single actress/singer/celeb have to have the same story? It’s just annoying.

Isn’t she still in high school? When did this happen, when she was 5??? This seems like a whole lot of drama and a cry for attention from someone who still isn’t out of high school with millions of fans.

i cant take this story seriously. first of all, she IS STILL A KID!!! it’s not like she goes to a regular high school like other people. Second, this little brat was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. Of course kids teased her, her daddy is famous for singing ‘achy breaky heart’, what do you expect? kids tease everyone, and she was an easy target. i don’t feel bad for her at all.
