Amy Poehler & Kelly Clarkson Dish To Elle On Their New Projects

Elle Magazine was able to catch up with two busy ladies: Amy Poehler and Kelly Clarkson!Both have new projects after changing things up professionally.Amy left Saturday Night Live after eight years and is about to star in her own new show called

Parks and Recreation on NBC.It has the same executive producers as The Office, but that doesn’t mean the shows are interchangeable.

‘You’ll see some similarities in style,’ Poehler says. ‘But it’s a whole new ship of which I am Captain Idiot.’ "

Not only does Amy have a new show, but she gave birth to her first child, a boy, last fall.She enjoyed her pregnancy but afterward felt the spotlight dim (something I’m sure a few of you mothers can appreciate).

Meanwhile, American Idol alum Kelly Clarkson is coming off of a disappointing album and a public feud with her famous producer, Clive Davis, with a new album.
