Donald Trump Says Rihanna Deserves No Future Success IF She Gets Back With Chris Brown

Ouch! I mean... wow. I can't believe he actually said this. Then again...

“She
better get the hell out.  If she goes back, she’s a loser, and she
doesn’t deserve to have any future success.”

-- Donald Trump talking about Rihanna's personal issues with Chris Brown

Well said Mr Trump.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

then Ivana Trump doesn't deserve any success as well, condoning Donald's womanizing ways in the past...

Anonymous Anonymous said:

you're comparing womanizing to beating your girlfriend up? stupid.

u r stupid brainwashed idiot. human relations is not what your text book says and not what you hear on Oprah. STFU

Cass Cass said:

That's not stupid. It hurts just as much AND do you know what can happen when people sleep around..aids, the clap, syphillis, etc. Just because someone doesnt physically punch you doesnt mean that they can't do things that hurt just as much or even worse and leave "scars" for the rest of your life....SO, I agree, with the previous post. it's not a stupid statement.

DarkEmpress DarkEmpress said:

evidently you dont know anything about Ivana. She said "If he cheats then i don't have him". When it was first found out that he was cheating there was a female reporter who said to her that a lot of women in her position would turn the blind eye. Ivana was NOT having it. She left him, sued for a huge amount of money, when she found out he didnt have it she took as much as she could and continued on making a name for herself. She is definitely a no nonsense woman. I have to say that calling Rihanna a loser was harsh however I 100% agree with the sentiment. Who can honestly buy her music? It is like you are promoting her having a lifestyle that you do not agree with. Maybe if she didnt make any money and Chris didnt make any money they would finally separate at least for their careers sake. She needs to get away from him and he needs to go to prison before he can even consider trying to sell anything to anyone. What would his album sales be funding, the defense attorney for the next time he smacks her around? Im so disgusted by the whole incident.

He's a jacka$$. What better way to lift someone up after a very public, humiliating and demeaning experience. Insult them by calling them a loser. Very touching, Donald. He's just trying to get publicity at the expense of a battered woman. How noble. He forgot to call her a ho. Better luck next time, Mr. Sensitivity.

He has a point, but not the best way of putting it. But then again, maybe she needs tough love now and less shoulders to cry on. I mean, look around; everybody's been all sympathetic and oh poor, poor pitiful Rhianna she's a victim of Chris Brown. even her own father has gone along with their reunion. If she's going to recover, the only way is for her to do it herself and that requires motivation. I think she's past the point of sympathy and support. It would only cripple her further now.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

FINALLY - Trump actually says something smart - and for all you people who don't agree with this quote - YOU ARE LOSERS TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said:

I agree. Harsh but true. The Donald does not mince words.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

REMEMBER Farrah Fawcett's portrayal of Francine Hughes in the television movie The Burning Bed? That movie says it all, do not go down that road Rhianna.....

Anonymous Anonymous said:

OMG that was a good movie. Too bad it was a true story.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

it is nobody's business who she sticks with...let her decide...if she makes a mistakes it is her mistakes....i d ont know about her speciic talents, but if she is talented entertainer it should not affect her one bit....people are just pocking their noses into every single pile of shiit and mass hysteria gets out of proportions

Anonymous Anonymous said:

Well, if you are a public figure, apparently it is other people's business too, because your fans will want to imitate you.

Lita Lita said:

The girl is only 19 years old. That is a very harsh thing to say. Rhianna will come out of this ok, regardless of whether she is with Chris Brown or not. She is a talented girl and I think this will have no effect on her career.

She's 21. For all we know, this is her first *real* relationship. It's hard to walk away from your first love, even if you *know* what they're doing is wrong. The feelings are so strong, and so difficult to simply turn off. I think everyone needs to leave her alone, and let her work it out without criticism.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

You're right but I'm convinced to a point that she has convinced herself that it's not wrong, that he loves her so much but just has a bad temper. Especially since she has people around her who don't seem to be shielding her from him. She does need to be left alone and donald should hush.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

Listen, like Trump or hate him this comment makes sense to me. If Rihanna is stupid enough to WANT to return to an abusive relationship, that would be fine IF she weren't such an influential figure. So many young girls look up to her and if she stands by him she is sending a terrible message that domestic violence is forgivable. Which it isn't. I hate how celebrities don't seem to take into account their responsibility to their young fans to set a good example. If you're lucky enough to become famous I feel you should have to work at being a positive role model and you should take into consideration your effect on society when decision making. With fame should come responsibility. Period.

If she gets back with Chris Brown, it is possible, that she will not have any FUTURE/success no matter how "small"... Domestic violence is a real issue that must be dealt with. In these sorts of situations, it is sad to say, victims end up killed.

Why does Donald Trump even care?????? Why does he think that his opinion should count or matter no matter how right he is.

Because he's a legend in his own mind. Money does that to a person.

Could say that about a bunch of celebrities and this issue.

DMK DMK said:

Isn't it interesting that instead of saying something against Chris Brown, Trump has come out with a statement against Rihanna and what she should/shouldn't do? What about what Chris should/shouldn't do? Rhianna is the victim here, yet Trump has found a way to potentially vilify her.

The fact is, Donald Trump is a misogynistic idiot who is completely unqualified to talk about women's issues. He has no idea about the psychology of an abused woman, and therefore, needs to shut the hell up.

Schnucki Schnucki said:

What he`s saying came to my mind too. As a celebrity you have to be aware that you are a role model to many (young) people. Even I admired her - although I am older and have never been a big fan of somebody. But now... I see reality..she`s just a normal girl with big problems and a big bankaccount. To be honest, I don´t think that it will be possible for her to continue her carreer if she stays with him. It is bad for her credibility. Fans want to dream: if I would be that rich, famous, goodlooking and so on... That`doesn´t make sense no more. Her career only has a chance if she separates from him clearly. It has to be a statement. But leading such a crazy life that to do is perhaps even more difficult than for "normal" persons in that situation.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

Exactly- Rihanna has more responsibility for her actions than most people because she is a celebrity.
imagine the precedent she is setting for all her young fans?!?
She needs an intervention

Anonymous Anonymous said:

He obviously has never been abused.

I hope he and everyone who shares his opinion minds their own business unless they can directly help her in the way she needs help, know whats going on in her head and know what its like being in her relationship. It is not easy to get out of an abusive relationship. It has nothing to do with finances in some cases and this is one of them. He has an emotional strong hold over her and that's not easily broken. I think people are forgetting that she's 21. She's a kid and is obviously lacking the proper counsel to help get her out of the situation.

Next time Donald keep your trap shut. You should not talk about other people's business when yours isn't doing so hot.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

Well said, and anyone who has any understanding of the cycle of abuse would agree with you!

Anonymous Anonymous said:

I completely agree with him in fact I contacted her label about her. I will not condone viloence and will not support her because she has taken him back. She is telling young adults and women it's ok for your boyfriend to hit you. Unless she gets away from I will not support her or her label. You have to get their attention were it hurts and that is her pocketbook.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

Did you contact Chris Brown's label too??

Anonymous Anonymous said:

Yes I did.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

How smart! Leave her broke and even more dependent on the person abusing her. Good job. You're really showing her with that move.

If you really wanted to do something you'd be lobbying for a tougher sentence for the person who abused her thus making it easier for her to get away and finally be able to think on her own.

Like I said, good job!

Caryl Caryl said:

First of all, it makes me mad seing so many "adults" calling each other names because they don't like their opinions.
Second, HOW MANY WOMEN in this world have returned to (or not left at all) an abusive partner??? It may not be the best decision for them, but even knowing that doesn't make it any easier. For f*** sake, can't people have a freaking heart? That really pisses me off.
THANK YOU, DMK

Donald Trump may be right, but he has no right to say something like that. She knows Chris Brown the best and is that is what she wants to do then let her! He might not even hit her again, but he might, so that is all up to Rihanna. In my opinion a situation like this shouldn't even be public.

Donald sort of has a point, but when you are madly in love with someone, it's not easy letting go in spite of the abuse you suffer at the hands of your lover or hubby. Tina endured abuse by Ike, millions of women don't leave their spouses or boyfriends right away, I guess Riri isn't strong enough yet to realize he's toxic so she can eventually make that break from frank headed Chris!!

Anonymous Anonymous said:

I TOTALLY agree. Rihanna is old enough to make her own decisions and if going back to Chris is okay with her then, then fine! She is the one who is jeopardizing her career, image, and future by going back to him. What is the message she is sending her fans? That it is OKAY to go back to her abuser?? She made the mistake by accepting it and not leaving the first time it happened.

It's unfortunate that Rihanna is not being smart enough to get out of the relationship, even though abusive relationships can be very tough to leave. However, it's quite sad that all of the back lash is coming to Rihanna, and not Chris Brown. He is the person who violently hit anoher.... Rihanna may no longer be a good role model for young women - but with that said it would be nice to see a little more sympathy for her with more of the anger being channeled toward Brown...

I am so sick of people thinking that celebrities should set axemple for their fans! I'm sorry but the last time I checked singers or actors are paid to entertain us not to preach us or to be our models. It's up to the parents to set good examples for their kids. No wonder why today's kids are srewed up:-( Rihanna is a singer which means that her job is to sing nothing more nothing less and I truly think that what happened to her is going to make her career even more successful because a lot of people feel sorry for her but for Chris brown I think his career is done! No matter what I'll support rihanna not because she came back to an abuser but because I like her music it's as simple as that!

When the Donald makes sense, you know its gonna be a weird year.

Can we just agree not to spend more than 5mins on this topic when she gets killed or beaten again?

Because we all know that what immature juvenile delinquents who are violent will changed when they are counselled by momma and the reverend who was probably a pro ball player a few years back and found the business of Jebus and decided to start his own church.

Then again with that freakish frankenstein forehead of hers, she can be too choosey either. At least she's not 14 and pregnant, so she's already better off than most in her age/race group.

Trump nailed it on this one whether it was for publicity means or not. Should Rihanna actually get back together with him, either she likes being hit or she’s really, really stupid. What ever the reason, she does not need to be an example for children or actually anyone, and should not be allowed a position where people idolize her.
