Kimora Lee Simmons & Djimon Hounsou Have Commitment Ceremony
News is just now breaking that Kimora Lee Simmons and Djimon Hounsou, who are expecting a child together, had a commitment ceremony. This ceremony reportedly occurred over the summer, when the couple was vising Djimon's native Benin, Africa.
'The couple is very happy and dedicated to each other one hundred percent,' Simmons' rep tells Us.
The source tells Us the couple -- currently expecting their
first child together -- went to Africa to meet Hounsou's family and
decided to have the traditional ceremony 'since they knew it was a
special opportunity to all be together.'The pair, who donned traditional garb, 'did it to show how committed to
each other they are in front of his family,' the source says,
emphasizing that it was not a wedding."
The source also empahsized tha the couple "are not engaged." I guess I can see why it wasn't announced last summer; Kimmora's divorce was not finalized from Russell Simmons until this past January. But I wonder why they're announcing it now?

I dont think she is pregnant, she has been heavy for a long time. They have been saying she's pregnant for over 2 years now. Why be serious enough to have a baby but not serious enough to get married? think about it it's all publicity. She is probably a very nice person. TV makes everyone rich look mean, we all know its not true. But, she is NOT pregnant, just wait til the summer and no baby but still chubby. Preg women look very different especially in the boob area...
I just won't to add, that I too have watch the reality show and I liked it . In a way it show's me that you don't have to be white to make it out here in this world or be born rich to get on tv or etc. I like to be as helpful to anyone as I can and when I watch her show I see me as I'm gonna get there and get what I wont because kimmora did it.
