Carrie Underwood Covering Motley Crue For American Idol

Now those are two names you don't expect to hear together! Carrie Underwood will be doing a Motley Crue cover for the American Idol farewell theme.
Her version of Home Sweet Home will play as the contestants get sent home. A portion of sales will go to benefit the Humane Society.
Carrie released a statement saying,
"I've always loved this song. And
besides being very fitting for 'Idol,' to me, the title is also very
fitting with animal rescue and finding animals their own homes."
Are fans of the original version of the song excited or upset about this news?

Shes stunning, but she looks kinda old here for some reason.
Yeah, what an old hag. She should just retire to a land filled with caramel squares and Metamucil.... Good grief! Do you want her to look like a fetus?
That's good!
I don't know why, but there's just something about her I really don't like. Yeah, she's a great singer but I'm not too excited to hear her version.

Heard it on the radio this morning.
REALLY BAD.
If you like the original anyway. Idol fans will lick it up.
OHHHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I love that song and the last person that should be covering it is HER! Oh gosh.............I hope it's not TOO painful!

I used to really like her, but now can't stand her for some reason.
I'll have to hear her version before I decide, I guess.
Ewww! My pu$$y smells bad today. Like pee/fish. What can I do?
Like her and the cover or not, I'm happy to hear that proceeds will be used for the Humane Society. Any attention drawn to the issue of homeless/abused animals is good; that alone makes me happy. She may seem sort of snobby, but I can't not like someone that has such compassion for animals as I feel the same way - good for her and good for American Idol on this one.
