At first he tried to deflect the question, but she kept on talking to him about it until he responded. In the end, Diddy said he wanted to offer the couple a place where they could work out their problems as he is good friends with both of them.

Anyway, Chris Brown grew up in a household where he witnessed domestic violence. It’s well documented that abuse happens in all sorts of household across socioeconomic strata and race. He is just continuing the sad cycle that he grew up with – though his behavior is inexcusable!
Its also well documented that women stay with their abusers long after the first assult. This is a time when Rihanna needs continuing love and support. To pledge to write her off now, when anyone who knows anything about domestic violence could have predicted that reconciling with her boyfriend is EXACTLY what she would do, is really quite sad and unfair.
Abuse goes through cycles of violence, honeymoon, escalation and back to violence. Rihanna is the victim here, but she is also a woman stuck in this cycle. Being publicly flogged will only cause her to stay in the situation because she’ll have nobody to turn to when she is ready to leave.

I’ve been there and watched my young (about Rhianna’s age) best friend tell me if I didn’t support her and her husband’s love in spite of the little beatings than she would have nothing to do with me. I was young too and listened to her because he really was a good guy and he loved her sooo much when he wasn’t hitting her and blah, blah, blah.. she was singing a different tune the night he tried to sneak into my room and when I objected and she confronted him he beat her so bad I had to get a gun to keep him from beating her to death. Luckily, by my leaving she was alone with him which escalated the violence and she eventually saw the light before it was too late.
My point is, young insecure women who suffer from low self esteem in a world where whores get famous and rich for nothing more than being desired by men (Kim Cardashian, Paris Hilton, etc…) will believe any problem any man they love has is their fault. They will stand by their man until he kills them. It is a proven fact. It is the job of anyone who loves her to do their damndest to remove this young girl from the situation and if she just wont give him up than you must leave her to it without any support or help from you. Let me start by saying there is NO excuse for what Chris Brown did. There is never, ever any excuse for resorting to violence in a relationship. That said, it’s Diddy’s house. People are different and have different lifestyles and have different morals. You can’t make someone think it’s right just like they can’t make you think it’s wrong. Instead of complaining about what women do about it, work on convincing the stupidest segment of our population-abusers-that it’s NOT ok to beat up a woman, it’s NOT ok to consider her your property, it’s NOT ok to stalk, harass, bad-mouth or destroy the property of the woman that they desire to control. Teach the stupid effing men that it’s THEM that need to change their behavior and stop allowing other men to get away with it. Quit blaming the women.

SAD….but, in all honesty..why did Rihanna want to go there and be with Chris??!! Did he tie her up and kidnap her….evidently not right! I think they “must” love each other…I think they are young and a bit stupid….I think that nite things got out of hand evidently…unfortunately Rih got the brunt of the fight….Men usually do dominate in fights….physical abuse is bad as is mental abuse….once it happens it will almost always happen again down the road….Diddy is trying to be a friend…but, he probably did it for PRESS….come on like chris and Rihanna couldn’t afford to head to a secluded island off the rictor scale to be together, to hide from the world and the press??!!! You bet they could…so WHY would they stay at diddy’s among all the spotlight??? doesn’t make sense to me…but, it’s a sure fire way of staying up everybody’s butt and in the Spotlight….
I am not going to be the typical person to call her an idiot because nobody has any idea how much she did to make his life miserable too. Regardless, anyone who goes back to someone who beat them is a complete idiot. 1 in every four women will be beaten by a boyfriend or husband. If you dont leave a man who hits you, you may as well have asked for it.

The only way Rihanna will learn it will be a good idea to leave the guy—-is when he A) kills her and himself B) beats her into a bloody pulp again (only this time her lable drops her ass and she goes back to her tiny island and becomes a fat pregnant mother of 5, beating her kids because she’s so depressed she fuc’d her life up when she was younger. It will happen again. Anyone that continues to look up to these moron’s as role models need therapy. Even if she hit him first, there is absolutely no reason to ever hit a woman. You can restrain someone without punching them in the mouth, biting their hands/arms or slamming their head into a window.
