Jamie Lynn Spears Is Recording An Album
Imagine big and little sis' on tour with one another taking over the planet with Spears tracks?!
Jamie Lynn Spears is ready to move away from acting and follow Britney Spears' footsteps. She just wants to SING! But in order to NOT compete with the Pop Princess, Jamie Lynn is going to focus her attention on country music. Wise choice.
She's been realllllyyyy quiet, but now Jamie Lynn is shopping for record deals. According to E! Online, the 17-year-old is seeking inspiration from her southern roots and has been busy recording tracks in the country music mecca of Nashville, Tennessee.
Many moons ago, Jamie Lynn once admitted a desire to get into the music industry:
"I’ll probably do a lot of acting first, then go to singing. But I am going to definitely sing someday. So when I do start singing, buy my album!"
There is some heavy competition these days in the country music genre, but Jamie Lynn has the right people (and amount of money) behind her. Can't wait to hear what she comes out with.

I love the song "Follow Me" which is the theme song to her show "Zoey 101". She does have a nice voice. And it'll be cool to hear a Spears girl do country music, since they are country. I'd love it if Britney did a duet with her!

Well, let's hope she's better than Britney. I don't know how anyone can like Britney's computer-modulated "singing"....if she's going into country, she needs a lot more talent than her big sis.
hey this might actually be good. give jessica simpson a run for the money.
I love country music so I would enjoy this maybe, If it's true.
She does have a nice voice and both she and Britney have both said before that Jamie-Lynn has a better voice than Britney.
...Oh, by Artemis' name. This...scares me. Country is already ruined enough, but THIS?! Why?! >< First Taylor Swift, now Jamie Spears. What IS this world coming to>!
