I totally agree. There are so many songs out there now with questionable lyrics. Who cares? It’s not like we’re all going to start cursing because of the song. I LOVE all of Britney’s newest releases so far. And I’m 35, which I guess is really sad, but they’re just so catchy! I can’t help it. They do play “If You Seek Amy” on our major pop station here, which is good!

Although I prefer the Circus music video, I love this song! I don’t care if it’s seen as controversial…I mean there are far worse lyrics/songs I can think of…this is pretty tame in comparison. Plus it’s Britney Spears!! I wasn’t sure about this video till the ending…that was really good

Funny, ’cause when I watch this video I feel like she’s about to set me on fire with that look in her eyes. She is passionate about what she does, you’d probably need to see her tour in person to understand that! Sure she might not dance as much as she did when she was younger, but hey, she’s not 18 anymore. She’s evolved as an artist and I think her videos are now more about the storyline and the creativity. She comes up with all her video concepts and all the storylines that tie in with them. I love this video’s concept. How not everybody is perfect and that everyone has a wild side. She’s putting on a front for the media, but we all know she has a wild side. Very cool.
Madonna is the Queen of the Zombies. She’s so gross. Britney has had a bigger impact in a much shorter amount of time it’s taken Madonna. Who even knows any of Madonna’s new music? How many albums has her new CD sold? Yeah, not many.

I think the video is great as far as dancing, costumes, britney’s look, but the concept is a little odd. I think she has done a great job all in all though! It’s so good to see her back to her old self. It’s sad to know that she has no control of her own life, I can’t imagine somebody making all my decisions for me. However, it is clear that somebody had to get her back on track and out of her distructive patterns that she had fallen into. I have been a Britney fan since day one, and in less that 30 days I get to see her in concert in Vancouver, and I am so excited! I wish her nothing but the best, and hoepfully after her tour is over with she can spend some much needed time relaxing with her cute little boys and the rest of her family!

If you Seek Amy is about Britney’s other perspective, of herself, Amy is the famous Britney that has to try to put on a show and act perfect, and she’s singing from the normal Britney’s perspective. For example, ” Oh baby baby have you seen Amy tonight?” that’s her talking about how everybody is always looking for her to see what she’s doing, then there’s the part where she goes, “Amy told me that she’s gonna meet me up” she’s talking about becoming one person, and that’s why she’s not switching to talking about herself, she’s talking about herself the entire time, ” All of the boys, and all of the girls are begging to If (F) U (You) seek ( C K) Amy (ME), and once you know all that you’re gonna get the song!
