John Stamos To Star In E.R. Spin Off
2009 is most certainly the year for the remake and the spin off. At least with the spin off, there is a chance for unique content being created. So, I'll take it!
Any ER fans? Rumor has it that John Stamos has been selected for an ER spin off! April 2nd is the finale episode, but the network knows there is still some life left in the concept.
The new show is going to completely revolve around John's character Dr. Tony Gates.
"This spin-off is the network’s secret weapon, and they’re hoping it will draw a new generation of viewers. Everything’s under tight wraps. The script is still untitled and is being worked on as The John Stamos Project."

I would watch this show. He doesn't look too happy with his girlfriend. He has a phony smile. Otherwise he'd be married to her by now, seeing as though he really really wants to settle down and have kids. Hey John: call me! lol

I think I'm the only person on the planet who still watches ER, so I would definitely watch a John Stamos spin-off. Love him, and love the show!
You are not the only ones who watched ER. We got hooked on the reruns and then saw it until the end. We missed season 1 and 2 and now watching that!
There just has to be a Spinoff but John Carter has got to be in it as Well!!!!
Loved them all, it was such a wonderful, exciting, romatic show ever. It had it all. Believe me.

I watched ER when it began, but stopped a few years ago. I just started watching this last and final season (I just had to see how it ended!) and it's SO great! It blows Grey's Anatomy/Private Practice/Scrubs - all those other medical shows - out of the water! I'm now sorry that I stopped watching it... So I, for one, would love to see ER continue on through a spin-off, even though John Stamos' character isn't my favorite (I love Archie!).
