After one month of marriage, newlyweds Adriana Lima and Marko Jaric are facing a pretty big problem.The Philadelphia police are investigating an allegation that Marko sexually assaulted a woman in February when his team, the Memphis Grizzlies, was in town to play the Philadelphia 76ers.That game occurred on February 11, just three days before Adriana and Marko married!
Adriana and Marko surprised everyone by eloping on Valentine’s Day, and less than two weeks later, Adriana was blogging about starting a family!
Hopefully this is some type of misunderstanding…
Update: According to TMZ, Marko’s lawyer has released a statement saying the Philadelphia District Attorney has determined that no charges will be filed against Marko.

I’m not saying he did assault that woman; she could be saying it to get some money. Maybe he did sleep with her consensually and now she is crying rape. It happens with athletes sometimes.
