Jonathan Rhys Meyers Has Checked Out Of Rehab

Jonathan Rhys Meyers has officially checked out of rehab. After spending several weeks in Causeway Retreat on Osea Island, the actor is now ready to return to work.
"He is back in LA and he is back at work in so far as he is holding meetings with various parties about upcoming projects," said a source.
"He is a tortured soul in that when he does have days off, he can spiral quickly into a place where neither he nor his loved ones would like him to be."
Tudors fans, you will be happy to hear that production is a go. Jonathan is also said to be taking private meetings with casting directors to submerge himself in his work. We just might be seeing a lot of the actor over the next year or two.

I adore him, but I can't bring myself to believe those blitz-rehabs work. It's too little time.
The rehabs only work if you leave with a program of recovery ahead of you. He needs a 12 Step program which means complete abstinence from all drugs, 12 Step meetings every day for a while and then at least two to three a week and a sponsor with whom to work the 12 Steps. Until Jonathan decides to do what he knows he needs to do he will simply be traveling a revolving door with rehab centers. He is such a talent that is horrible to be wasting his life on booze and other drugs. Robert Downey, Jr. got it figured out, finally, and perhaps sooner or later Jonathan will too. Pray for him.....

I never see anything in print that he is attending 12 Step meetings, has a sponsor and is working a program of recovery. Waltzing in and out of rehab centers doesn't work unless you work a program of recovery when you leave. Johnathan is an immensely talented actor and to think that he is not able to stay clean makes me sad. He will simply continue relapsing until he does what he knows he needs to do. I have been clean for 18 years and if I can do it, I know he can do it. Life is so much better when we function clean and with a clear mind and conscience. God be with you Jonathan and PLEASE get the help you need because you are worth it -- hopefully you know that by now. You are a wonderful actor and any comments I read about you, people always say that you are a kind and loving person. Get help for yourself.

his return is good.but works of rehab should continue...recovery is full when you are at your will.drug rehab can only help you if you are willing to get helped.
A california drug rehab center might do him good if he is serious about recovery. Hope it worked for him.
