For all of the Juliet fans on Lost... uh-oh. Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello has got more scoop for us, but this scoop might make you queasy. Elizabeth Mitchell has just been cast in ABC's "eagerly anticipated" V pilot (yep, that V: the one where they eat rodents).
So what does this mean for Elizabeth's character, Juliet, on Lost? Ausiello has been saying that there will be "a major" and a "major-ish" (each) death this season. Could this casting news mean Juliet is a goner?
Ausiello reported that his "moles" have told him Elizabeth is only a guest star on V, but then he adds something more chilling...

As a huge LOST-fan i hate to hear that a character leaves the show. can't wait for the next episode, though.
I am a big lost fan and I'd welcome her departure. Her character has nothing more to add to the plot - and, in my judgement - she is a poor actress. She only alternates between two facial expressions: the wry smile and the 'oh you know that's a horrible idea and I am smarter than you' look...
so, off you go, Juliet.

NOO! sawyer and kate belong together, they have so much more passion and understanding for each other, jack is too whiney for her.
but i agree, while juliet is a nice character she no longer adds anything to the show/plot.

I thought they were keeping her aruond for Jack since Sawyer and Kate BELONG together. I'll be happy to offer myself up to keep Jack company when Juliet is gone :o)

Nooooooooooooooooooooooo I so hope that that is not true please not please!!! I love Juliet and I so don´t agree with the posters above. Have non of you seen Elizabeth Mitchell in anything else then Lost? She is a great actress. Those are Juliets facial expressions and if you remember her flashback epi then you can see that Juliet had different facial expressions before she came to the island lol.
Please I hope that that is not true but I don´t want anyone else to die either. Btw. Vera can you next time not put spoilers, like the one with the possible death, at the front page? I like to be unspoiled regarding Lost

I really like Juliet now. The writers do a great job of making the characters questionable...then they develop the back stories and all of the sudden you find yourself liking the character more and more. I would be sorry to see Juliet leave the show now.
As much as I love Jack...well, I love Sawyer even more! He is my all time fav Lost character...and that's saying a lot. I think Kate and Sawyer belong together...

and i have to agree - mitchell´s face looks like crap with all this botox. i also liked her original nose much better. it´s a shame, ´cause i think without that stuff she´d be really pretty!

There's so much more to learn about her character, her connection to the Island, to Ben, to Jack and Sawyer and her sisters and nephew.

I would be so sad if Elizabeth left Lost! I love Juliet! She's by far my fave female character. I would particularly hate it if she was killed off for the love triangle. I wasn't sure about Juliet and Sawyer but I'm liking them now. Having to kill off Juliet so that Sawyer and Kate can be together is awful.
I hate the botox comments. Other than being a little older, her face looks the same as she's looked in every role for ten years. I hate the conclusion that a quiet rather still character equals botox.
I love Juliet. Kate drives me nuts. She always disagrees with Jack and agrees with Sawyer. She can go.
I like Juliette,I hope she will return in season 6 of LOST:):) mY faVourite actress. She cant leave LOST,!!!1
