Hollywood Casting News For Pattinson And Reid
Robert Pattinson might get another chance at playing a star-crossed lover in a new project called "Memoirs". He just won't be a vampire this time.
Talks are in very early stages BUT the movie based on an orignal screenplay by Will Fetters that will be rewritten by Jenny Lumet, who penned "Rachel Getting Married," is up for grabs and producers want Robert as the main lead.
[It] tells of two lovers whose newfound relationship is threatened as they struggle to deal with family tragedies.
In other casting news, Tara Reid has landed... a mommy role. How does she feel about this?! I hope the child is months old and not a teenager because that would be awful!
This is a big transition for women actors - going from the young hot thing to the mother. Some say 40 something actresses won't even consider making the move (like Jennifer Aniston).
Tara's untitled project is a horror film (yeah!!) and it's based around a family who is terrorized by an unseen presence.

It's not like Tara is 18 anymore...
Thanks for ruining a perfectly good Rob Pattinson post. Tara Reid ruins everything!

Tara as a mom? She's not really the mom type...Well she could play the mom who is in and out of rehab.

Ummm, you can still be a "hot, young" actress and play a "mommy" role! There are plenty of young mom's in the world!

Ugh I have to admit I don't really like the sound of the role for Rob...I could be wrong but I feel like he can do something more than another love story...I feel like his next move after the Twilight series is so important for his career...
Jennifer Aniston did play a mom in Marley & Me.
Okay, for one thing, Tara Reid is 33 years old. I had a five year old and a bun in the oven at that age, so what's the least bit surprising about that? I actually do find refreshing that she would do a role like this rather than expecting to be cast as the ingenue.
And mostly. Beggars can't be choosers. bet she's glad to have the work. Jennifer A. can pick and choose and doesn't have to be the mommy (which is sort of silly that she won't), but not every actress has that luxury.
