OK Ladies. This commercial is not directed at you. Nor is it made for the American audience. That's why they call it the 'Western Burger'. Most other countries aren't as prudish as the USA. That's why famous people do commercials in other countries that never air here.

I know many vegetarians and none of them have chosen the lifestyle for moral reasons. Not trying to be contrary, just saying that it's not the case for all.
Padma's gorgeous but that commercial was kinda gnarly. I have to admit to loving this burger, at least the original, from Carl's Jr. It's quite scrumptious.

You know some BULLSHIT vegetarians then. 90% of us do it for moral reasons and the rest do it for personal reasons but once you become educated it turns into an moral issue. Something you would obviously know nothing about since you think its ok to raise cows simply to slaughter them and their families. Not to mention the number one cause of pollution in the world is slaughtering cows and keeping them grazing when they are alive. So bad for the environment, its 2009 there is no need to eat meat.

I didn't quite get what you were getting by saying that here in Europe we have a different outlook on pedophiles, teenage prostitutes etc. We definitely don't approve of it any more than they do in America. So ignorant to be saying something so discusting without any knowledge. What comes to smoking, i hardly have any friends who smoke, it isn't allowed in restaurants, bars... Hmm..u're thinking of France maybe.. Or Bulgaria...? And some European countries have just as much or little in common as U.S. and Ecuador, just saying that 'cause i never really refer to myself as "European", and here they often speak of it as though one country(which is fine really, nobody can know all the countries all that well..) As for the commercial, it wasn't original, innovative, but ok.. So awkwardly sexed-up that it's just ridiculous, kind of funny:) not offencive IMO. Eating can be incredibly sensuous, so I get that part of the ad. But Padma doesn't strike me as the type of person who would associate herself with a fastfood joint. They must have thrown a lot of money at her for the ad. She is beautiful!
It's a great commercial...very sexy, very memorable. Padma is ridiculously hot, and she knows how to use it.
