Celebrities Attend The Launch Of Latisse

Brooke Shields, Mandy Moore, Angie Harmon, Jewel, and Marisa Tomei all attended the launch party for 'Latisse' in LA yesterday afternoon. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Can we TALK about this PRODUCT!?
It's the first FDA approved lash grower and I am extremely interested! It's by prescription only so we all can't run to our local drug store and start shopping.
But I have to ask, who is going to try it out?
Latisse's website has some amazing before and after pictures in case you need more proof that it actually works.

This is the most ridicolous product I've ever heard of. Is bad enough that women have to deal with the pressures of body image; now they are telling us our eyelashes are not long and sexy enough.
some medical conditions, not to mention chemotherapy, actually cause your lashes to fall out and re-growing them is almost impossible...Having said that, I think you're that a lot of vain women will go out and get a prescription for it, but it can help many too.
I just keep thinking what would you do if your lashes don't stop growing!! You'd look like Snuffleupagus.
I wonder too what happens when you stop taking it? Do your lashes fall out?

I have very average eyelashes & I would love to try this!! I think about getting eyelash extensions, but they are so expensive...This alternative sounds so much better.

I think, actually, the product is probably perfect for someone who has trichotillomania and I doubt it is designed for people with normal eyelashes

This sounds amazing. I agree, it does not sound like it is intended for people with normal eyelashes.
ok vera the ball is in your hand....please try it and let us know if this product works! I would love to try it. I bet it's expensive though.
I was born with short eyelashes (you can barely notice) and have considered getting eye lash extension. But hesitated because of the maintenance I have to do. When I found out about Latisse, couldn't wait until it became available. I've been using it for 10 weeks now...and wow, I have eyelashes. I LOVE MY NEW LONGER eyelashes.
This originally was used for Glaucoma patients. My husband is using eye drops for his glaucoma and his eye lashes are longer than mine!
The problem with this product is that the effects reverse very quickly if you stop using it, also it can PERMANENTLY change your irises to brown if they're blue/green/hazel. That's too scary for me

Sorry, forgot to log in the first time
Jewel's dress is laughable. Style aside, it looks like it's a few sizes too big!
Brooke Shields looks fantastic! Now that's a healthy-looking/fit body!!

This product isn't working for me or my friends. We all used Revitalash before they removed the "special" ingredient and it was wonderful!
This new product, not so much. We aren't seeing any changes and they want you to wait 6-8 weeks to see anything. With Revitalash you saw improvements within 2 weeks.

Check out the Canadian online pharmacies. They don't require a prescription for it in Canada! The best ones I've found are www.canadapharmacy.com and www.westcoastskin.com
I haven't used it, but I'm curious enough about it that I looked it up! Anyone else here who has actually used it?
I'm an actual user going on 7weeks of use. I have absolutely no adverse conditions (no red eyes, irritation, color change or pigment issues). It absolutely works and I have had co-workers ask me if I was wearing eyelash extensions at 6weeks of use. I just showed them the Latisse bottle and now they are converts. They are stronger, thicker and longer not to mention beautiful.
Why exactly are celebs going to a launch of a medical product? Even on the website it looks like the woman in the example as a line of irritation along the lash line.
Celebs are present because of "Make a wish" the cancer charity. Look closely at the photo and you will see the words. You do realize people lose hair due to chemotherapy.
