SATC Movie News: Carrie With Kids?

Well, I guess it would be a natural progression, wouldn't it, for Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker's character) and Mr. Big (Chris Noth) to become parents? Chris seems to think so, and the producers just may agree with him.
'[Producers] are probably thinking about [Carrie having a baby], but I don't know,' Chris Noth teased Usmagazine.com at Exit the King's opening night in New York City Thursday."
What do you think of the idea of seeing Carrie as a mom? They won't have to worry about being sensitive to the recession: what new mother is prancing around in $600 Manolo Blahnik shoes? That's a stretch even for an escapist movie, don't you think?

As much as I love SATC, I will REFUSE to watch a movie that is about Carrie Bradshaw with babies. It was bad enough that in the last movie CB didn't swear and refused to talk about sex with her girlfriends. So not her.

There was a story a few months back that the SATC sequel *would not* feature Carrie with kids. Afterall, Big expanded the closet, he didn't make a nursery. I actually agree with Emra... I'd rather she not have kids. Not everyone goes that route and to have Carrie do it just like almost everyone else, is a bit off.losethatgirl blog

Impossible. Carrie was never very motherly. I can't even imagine her with a baby. It would be way too awkward. =^_^=

I hope it's rumor. I don't want them to have babies..it just would completely be a 180 for their characters. It's enough that they got married... I'd still watch the movie even if they ARE going to have them be parents, though. ;)
You have obviously never been to Short Hills, NJ. New moms with strollers wearing $600-$1000 shoes all the time. Go hard or Go home. Becoming a mom doesnt mean becoming drab. Well to most it does but not to the hot ones.
No way! Carrie would not be a good mother and I think it'd ruin the character of the series. It's enough that she ended up married.
But wow wow I love her dress and bod. That hair sucks though.

Carrie had a few abortions. She probably can't even have kids at this point. Plus she's too into herself. Carrie with kids wouldn't be Carrie.

Love the dress she is wearing. Carrie with kids? Noooo, please don't. Life is great without kids and Big doesn't strike me as a man who needs kids to "make his life complete".
This is not possible. This is a complete contradiction to their characters - I hope it is a rumour. Please let it be.
