Get ready! Here comes another young, lesser known actor about to be thrust into mega-fame via Twilight. You may not have heard of Jamie Campbell Bower…yet. But, he’s been cast as Caius in New Moon so you can bet we’ll be seeing him all over the place pretty soon.
"You’re the first people I’ve told" he said. "Shooting has already started, and I’m going over in June."
He wasn’t even completely familiar with the plot before being cast,
"I hadn’t read the books before. But it’s a great thing to be a part of, and it did very well last year.
I doubt I’ll get the same sort of adulation as Robert – but it’s always nice when people recognise you for your work."
Jamie adds that we should stop believing the other casting rumors online.
"I do know who else will be in it – but I can’t tell you, unfortunately.
"But
go online and have a look at the rumours," he said, then added:
"They’re all false. You’re putting me in a terrible situation."
Jamie has been in a few other big movies before, like Sweeney Todd, but this is sure to make him a household name.

I pictured the main Volturi trio to be older, at least Carlisle’s age. But it’s not specifically mentioned in the books, so…
He looks like a vampire if you click on the 3rd thumbnail! Those red eyes! LOL

i just saw new moon. i loved it! he was such a great actor. im am currently obsessed with Sweeney Todd, and Jamie, so i think he’s smokin hot and deserved the role, he did great! any other young girls out there, BEWARE… JAMIE IS MINE!!!

He’s adorable and was great in Sweeny Todd, so this should be interesting.
He looks really naive and he played a very naive character in Sweeney Todd. I’ll give him the benefit of a doubt but he’ll have a lot to prove since Caius is not naive.
Who knows but he looks like a cross between Carrot Top and Gay Clay Aiken!
For some reason I always pictured this character as a bit older. It bugs me that all the actors they are casting look like teenagers. What? There aren’t any vampires that were ‘changed’ during middle age? My teenage niece and I just had this conversation. She says she always pictured the top tier of the Italian family to be old. By old she means mid 30′s. LOL
I totally agree. He’s way too young. I pictured Caius as someone older, at least in his 30′s and probably more like in his 40′s and definately not that awkward looking.
question to mothers- when is too young too read twilight…. i’ve been debating this with friends/moms/coworkers for weeks. my older daughters are 12 and 13, so im fine letting them read it, but the talk about it and they make my 7 year old want to read it. i’ve heard that the 4th book is kinda raunchy, but i dont want my youngest feeling left out. luckily shes still working on the 1st but should i make her wait till shes older or prepare for the sex/vampire talk? any tips are appreciated.
i would let her read 1-3….if she is dying to read it. but the 4th book is a little raunchy for a 7 year old. i have a 7 year old boy and in no way would i give him the sex talk. in the last book they have sex and get pregnant. but the sex is rough cause he’s a vampire and has super strength.. i mean it doesnt go into grave detail but i would be wary. my 7 year old doesnt watch grown up stuff yet. but he is the oldest so that may be why

OK i hope they touch him up very nicely for playing a vampire! i mean no offense, but vampires are supposed to be gorgeous!!! and yeahh he should look older cause he is the top of the volturi!
