Jennifer Hudson Coming Back For Second Sex And The City Movie

In the first Sex and the City movie I wasn’t too sure about Jennifer Hudson’s character. I mean, everyone else in the film was people we’ve been familiar with since the show’s conception. But, now that she’s done one movie, she’s a part of Sex and the City history and Jennifer hoping that she’ll be able to come back for the sequel!

I would love [to play Louise again],” she
said. “I told Michael Patrick King, I said that Louise has moved back
to New York from St. Louis, so… I’ll be ready if that opportunity
comes.”

Would you be excited to see Louise back alongside Sarah Jessica Parker again?

uh yeah , there has to be some color in the movies.. besides the hotel workers and bodyguards..

I didn’t think she added too much for the movie either. She’s a great singer but I wouldn’t really care if she’s in the movie or not.

The title is misleading. Jennifer isn’t in the movie in the movie yet, just wants to be. I didn’t like her character either. It was poorly written and seemed like they just threw her in. If they develop Louise better than I think she could be a good character. Also unless Carrie has a new job I can’t imagine her needing an assistant. Maybe since Samantha came back from LA she would work with her. That could be an interesting relationship.

I agree that her character would need more depth and that she would need to work on her acting a little more (sounded like she was talking the lines). I wonder what kind of story lone she would have?! Either way I love her and want to see more of her!

I didn’t think that she did a good job in the move at all. I thought her acting was horrible and made her part very ackward

Her role was pointless. They need a black girlfriend or gay friend. Now that would be interesting.

    “STANFORD” does’nt that ring a bell ??

I like Jennifer Hudson, but I think that the script, her lines, and her wardrobe was all wrong for her. I think that Jennifer should have done a cameo in the first SATC movie, then Jennifer comes back in the second one for a full role. I’m a black woman and love SATC, I just think that her role was very dull.

I thought Jennifer was wonderful in the first SATC movie so I’d like to see her return. She helped freshen up the storyline.losethatgirl blog

I didn’t like the fact that they added her into the mix (pick me), because everyone else was a familiar face (pick me) and it just felt like a pull. Still she’s a nice girl (so am I, pick me), I wouldn’t mind having her in the second movie, I wonder how they would tie her in though (oh and don’t forget to pick me).

    I’m such a dork lol.

I love her! She has so much talent & she seems so normal & humble

Don’t think she added much to the movie, probably even less to the second. She seems like a lovely woman and very talented but I just felt she was just screen filler

I would LOVE to see Jennifer’s character back for the second movie. She’s the only part about the movie that I liked!

she’s got talent as a singer…but needs a lot of work on her acting. if she comes back, i hope she works on her lines more. really didn’t think the way she portrayed the character fit in with sjp…no chemistry.

It would just be nice to see any non-white people in a movie based in New York.
