Kylie Minogue Admits To Botox

I’ll admit that I love hearing celebs ‘fess up to this sort of thing. In some small way maybe it helps bring our unrealistic expectations of beauty down a notch.

Kylie Minogue actually admitted that she used Botox in the past.

"I’m definitely not one of those people who says, ‘You shouldn’t do this.’ Everyone individually can do what they want.

“I
also think it doesn’t have the stigma that it had when I was growing
up.For all time women have wanted to, for the most part, look their
best.

It’s just that what we have available to us
today is – what it is today. I’m preferring to be a lot more natural
these days. I’ve tried Botox, I’ve tried all."

As for plastic surgery to slow down signs of aging, the singer adds,

"You’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t."

Kylie looks great, but still the idea of injecting something poisonous in my face really scares me. Talk to me in a few years though…you never know. :)

Is plastic surgery something you’ve done, or would consider?

Damned if you do, Damned if you dont… Botox catapulted her into the US market – oh and that hooded dress : )

Cant say image doesnt sell, unfortunately… video killed the radio star. She transformed her look and the world stood up and took notice… no wonder the pressure is on to maintain it.

I would not say yes, right now, I mean who knows – my mother contemplates having little things fixed… but my dislike of needles, pain and paralysis would probably win out over wrinkle free.

I would never inject anything like that into my body. Whatever happen to women appreciating what God gave them. So what you get a few wrinkles when you get older, its what makes you YOU. I think its crazy to take a chance of doing this to your body. I think as a role model and someone who has survived cancer, Kylie should know that life is way tooo short to worry about wrinkles and lines on your face..AM I RIGHT?????

I loved Kylie’s Impossible Princess days: she sang (and wrote) her most courageous songs in 1998, and she looked her most beautiful too, even if she was a little on the too-skinny, too-pale side! The irony is, her face began to change most noticeably at a time when she was again singing pop songs and becoming a huge success all over again, post-2000. She hasn’t looked back, and I’m afraid neither has this ex-Kylie fan! :)
