Charlie Sheen's Son Is Still In The Hospital

Charlie Sheen had yet to take home his three-week-old son Max from the hospital. The 'Two And A Half Men' actor and his wife Brooke Mueller welcomed twin
sons Bob and Max into the world on March 14 - but one of the boys has not
been allowed to go home.

Rumor has it Max has a heart condition, but the actor says it's because not enough weight has been gained for a release.

Charlie's publicist Stan Rosenfield said:

"Charlie and Brooke's infant son
remains in the hospital, not because of a heart condition as reported, but
because he has not gained the weight necessary to leave.

"Max is expected to reach the weight requirement shortly and will join his
brother Bob at home. The Sheens appreciate the outpouring of concern but
have assured everyone that both Bob and Max are fine."

Charlie says it's because his boy is a fussy eater:

"The weight issue is very common among infants who were born
before reaching full term. I know a lot of people are not fond of hospital
food - I just didn't realize they that started so young!"

Always the comedian! ;)

It's probably just his defense mechanism. I do the same thing if I'm trying not to be upset about something that's bothering me. It's not always in the best taste but I certainly don't mean any harm by it. Right now one of my dogs is dying and I've made jokes to people to avoid getting upset when they ask about him. And before everyone attacks, NO, I am not at all pretending a dog is the same as a child! I understand there is a big difference :)
