Model Miranda Kerr (and girlfriend of one Orlando Bloom) sees her modelling as a job, not a way to define herself. I can understand that ;)
'I don’t look at myself as a sex symbol. I see it as a job, and I’m
working for a company that I really love and enjoy working for,' the
brunette beauty told In Touch at the launch of the new Dream Angels Push-up Bra for Victoria’s Secret in New York on April 7."
Although I can certainly understand Miranda's sentiments, I suspect many men would beg to differ.
Orlando may be rubbing off on Miranda career-wise. (Not that it'll help the whole "sex symbol" issue).
'If there was a good role that I found interesting!' she said when asked
if she would ever try acting. 'I wouldn’t want to be in one of those
cliché roles, but I would do something that would be a little more
interesting.' "
Hmmm... maybe she and Orlando could co-star in a movie together? And take a look at her above and in the thumbnails: does she look like a sex symbol to you?

LOL, I love how she thinks she actually has a chance at acting. Anyway, taking tips off the boyfriend won't help, he can't act either.
She is the WORST VS model, she always looks like her neck is broken- what is up with that? I like all of the VS models but her- I think its because she looks about 14- and shes too straight up and down with no tits-hetro men like a woman to look female not boyish.
Women like her who pretend they aint good looking when they get called it usually know they are- too much, I've dated women like her who have all this fake modesty- men hate it as therres nothing worse than a woman who is like that- that and women who wont take it up the ass- joke! I'm sure she does, Orlando Bloom looks like the kind of guy who likes a bit of butt sex- still im sure he doesnt enjoy it with her-she has no ass- still as much as I hate the guy I bet he has a load of booty calls on his list...
She's the only person who I've seen wear that bandage dress well. Kudos to her. As for being a sex symbol, girlfriend needs to get a clue.
Just saw Orlando Bloom in the Marriot hotel in Durham, NC- I don't think he can be with gorgeous Miranda anymore as he was holding hands with this petite blonde in the bar, he is delish in the flesh, shame they arent together no more :(
Oh please, anyone who has actually seen her attempt to string together coherent sentences in an interview will tell you she is as dumb as they come.
There have been enough stories from people who worked with her that say she thinks she is god's gift to the world. Saying that "its just a job and not a way to define herself" is just the PR statement du jour.

She works for Victoria's Secret selling bra's and undewear!?!? Why else would they hire her than for her boobs and butt and because of sex. Oh, and she'll try acting, that's sort of an insult to talented actors who are working their butts off to get good roles.

She is extremely pretty (so much prettier than say Giselle) but she has the worst body! Yes, she can wear the bandage dress, but her legs are WAY too skinny and she does look like a 12 year old boy in underwear. The older models had much better bodies: Cindy Crawford, Elle, Claudia, etc, etc....These new ones are so bony that it is gross to see them in ads~
