Blake Lively Thinks She Looks Masculine
We all have insecurities about our appearance, but I wouldn't have guessed Blake Lively felt this way! Although many may see Blake as the "beautiful young socialite" she plays on Gossip Girl, she confessed to feeling very differently about her appearance.
'I feel like a tranny a lot of the time,' the 5-foot-10 star says in the May issue of Allure
(on newsstands April 21). 'I don't know, I'm ... large? They put me in
six-inch heels, and I tower over every man. I've got this long hair and
lots of clothes and makeup on.' "
Blake even said she avoids wearing pink so she won't look like "a piece of bubble gum."
Being an actress must be torturous for Blake! I certainly don't think she has anything to worry about, do you?

I know what she means though... i'm 5ft10 and definately not fat by any means. I grew up in New Zealand where people are shorter in general (i'm dutch so my family if tall tall tall) and it used to make me feel like an amazonian.... I love heels but do not wear them either...

I'm five ten. Embrace your height, rock the heels. How many women can say they are as tall as a supermodel? Know that there is always someone looking at you anyway, so why not be happy?

her androgyny is actually what makes her pretty to me. i like that she looks fit and not all delicate, like if someone touches her wrong she might break.
It's not her height that's the problem, but her manly face.

She does look like a man. Its her face. Just like Jen Maniston. Its her nose and chin. I think she should get rhinoplasty. She is very lucky that she has those hips they make her look more womanly. I think the height is great too.
5ft 10 is tall and I can see why she feels masculine, but she should embrace her stature - don't know who she is, but she looks lovely!
Since she has no breasts and no butt she is masculine, she's built like a teenage boy, the same as all the other "starlets" in Hollywood. That's why they have such a hard time finding a man. Only a dog wants a bone and he just wants to bury it.

uhh wtf are you talking about? she's one of the few actresses in hollywood that DOES have a body--boobs AND butt. blake is gorgeous in every way...her face might not be classically or aesthetically perfect, but she is a knockout nonetheless. if anyone commenting on this blog saw her walking down the street, they would think no different. so come on now, let's be honest with ourselves..blake is an absolutely lovely girl.

It's funny. When she and Penn were on the cover of EW a while back, I pointed out to my husband that he is sooo much prettier than she is.
I think she is gorgeous too! beautiful girl with a nice body at that!
