Jenna Jameson Says 500 Sit Ups a Day Helped With Giving Birth

Uh... I've given birth twice and no amount of sit ups could have prepared me for what I went through... but everyone is different I suppose.

Jenna Jameson says “500 sit ups a day” made giving birth easy.
The former adult movie star – who welcomed twins Jesse Jameson and Journey Jette into the world on March 15 – said her strong stomach muscles helped with the fast delivery.
She wrote on her MySpace blog:

“I was blessed with a very easy labor, it lasted about 2 hours. When it came to pushing them out, I truly believe the 500 sit ups a day paid off. I was able to push my 5 pound Jesse out in 5 pushes. Journey who was 4lb 11oz was out in 3 pushes (sic).”

Jenna was forced to spend two months in hospital on bed rest prior to the birth, but insists the experience hasn’t put her and her partner, mixed martial arts fighter Tito Ortiz, off having more children.

“I loved the whole process of being pregnant and I hope to have another baby someday.... but in the meantime, I'm having a blast with my two little monsters! By the way, Jesse looks like me and Journey looks like Tito! I feel like the luckiest girl ever!!!!!!"

Aw - you can really hear the excitement in her writing. It's such an amazing time when you first get to bring those little ones home! :) Check out Jenna's pregnant pictures she placed on her MySpace account to track the growth of her baby. Click on the thumbnails below to enlarge.

Her career in porn and the fact that her babies were only 4 and 5 pounds may have helped as well....

lol I was think that too, thousands of porn films may make any baby fall out when they are more than four pounds as well. I could be more graphic with this humor, but I will leave it alone. Yeah, it's the situps.

Very tactfully put! That's a great way to say what everyone is probably thinking :-)

I agree - I've heard you are not supposed to do sit ups while pregnant.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

Oh and also agree with her career in porn and small babies comment. Hope those babies didn't catch anything from the whore.

Too much information as usual. No one wants to hear about anyone's labor. Its disgusting and private, once women have kids they think everyone wants to know and hear about being pregnant and the birth. Its quite the opposite, once you have a kid NO ONE wants to hear about it, take a look at the next person you bore to death with you kid stories see how truly UNINTERESTED they really are. Anyone can have a baby can we please stop treating it like its some national holiday.

It's obvious you don't have kids, otherwise you'd be talking about it all the time.

I agree with gretel. Once you have kids, it is fairly common to share your birth story with other moms.

That said, I think you should also keep it to yourself if you are talking with someone who doesn't have kids, unless they ask. And really, they will only ask if they are pregnant. :D

I agree.

I agree.

Actually, not everyone can have a baby. That comment was ignorant. Many moms and moms to be look at having children like it's a gift (which it is) and enjoy sharing stories with each other. Not only is it a way to bond, but hearing from someone else who has been there is enlightening.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

i disagree many parents bore people with stories of their kids and how they were conceived. these parents have their rose colored glasses on and dont realize their kids are not all that. not everyone can have kids, so what? thats not my problem. not everyone should have kids either (there is no law that yo must have kids). i think your comment is dumb that it is ok for parents to saturate us with stories on how they gave birth (as though they invented fire). by sharing these stories with us you are allowing us to make fun of your little one. believe me, it is best not to talk about your kids because the rest of us dont care.

You obviously didn't read the part where the previous poster said "to someone else who has been there"...If you ever had a child, please come back and let us know just how uneventful is was for you.

I don't think it was the situps..her vagina is huge. All the pounding this wh*re has taken over the years, those babies just slipped right out. Her insides are like the slip and slide ride at Dorney Park.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

Ha! Right, Jenna. We believe you.

friendsfirst friendsfirst said:

I knew to log on because the haters would have a lot to say. Actually, the sit ups probably did help...it is commonly know that exercise is suppose to aid in an easier labor and delivery and the comments about her being huge are just stupid and gross and disrespectful. No amount of pounding can compare to have two babies. WOW...this is still a mother and her babies have some respect.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

first of all you're not suppose to do sit ups during pregnancy (especially after 4 months) because it can traumatize the uterus and abdomen and you can also push the uterus and compress the vena cava which raise high blood pressure. You're not even suppose to lay on your back for more than 5 to 10 minutes at a time. She should not be giving out advice....it's totally irresponsible on her part.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

She has to make up a story on how her twins slipped right out. She is disgusting, her vagina is streached and used up. Ask any doctor, a woman's uterus, fallopian tubes and vagina are hanging by a very thin membrane. I'm surprised this whore was able to carry those kids.

I'm pretty sure that the amount of guys that shes boinked over the years had more to do with the easy birth, not how many crunches she did, I hate to be mean but the babys prolly weren't the biggest things coming out of there.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

"By the way, Jesse looks like me " How would SHE know!? Does she remember what she looked like before her face transplant?

kakabel - you're gross. You're only looking for attention. Go play or something. Do your parents know you're on the internet?

Anon 11:24, you only make yourself sound stupid and empty. The other poster never said anything about sharing birth stories with anyone that will listen. They mearly said - with other mothers and mothers to be. Of course there are those that don't know when to stop with the stories and what is enough, but you have no right to come down on someone who takes pride in being a mother. You obviously are not one. I personally have never heard anyone tell of how they conceived. Maybe you need to stop eavesdropping. You sound like you have a very sad, pathetic, lonely and harsh point of view on life in general and will say something negative to or about anyone when given the chance. Me thinks thee doth protest too much.

I really don't know why Jenna didn't just steer clear of this topic. Anything she says about it being an easy birth is going to make people chuckle.

Is that all you can pick on - a spelling error?

did it say she did the sit ups during pregnancy ... NO ... you dumbasses
and Jenna had vaginal rejuvenation surgery 2 years ago when she stopped doing pron so all your jokes about the baby sliding out are a a little crass don't you think

Anonymous Anonymous said:

THANK YOU!!! I was just thinking the exact same thing (about the situps, not the surgery). She NEVER said that she did situps while she was pregnant. Like her or not, you have to admit that her stomach was very flat and toned before she was pregnant...probably because she did 500 situps a days. Of course that would help with pushing her babies out, her abs were toned and strong.

That's what I was thinking! Why would she set herself up for such obvious jokes?!

Anonymous Anonymous said:

After all the "work" she did in her films I am shocked her reproductive organs were not shoved up into her chest cavity by now. Im sure excessive and constant "stretching" out of everything also helped contribute to a easier birth process.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

What does it tell you that she had to have vaginal rejuvenation surgery?! Anyone in her "profession" and I use that term loosely - no pun intended... should expect to be criticized for doing something anyone with a vagina can do. Not everyone can get a job where you have to use your brain to get paid. You can be beautiful and smart and you don't have to sell your soul for it! It's obvious this chick is at least 75% fake - inside and out. Makes me wonder about those that are defending her.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

Hey Jenna...your babies were small...try pushing out a 9-pound baby and then tell me how much sit-ups helped.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

haha agreed.....my stomach muscles didn't help at all to get my 9 lb, 3 oz baby out........
bitch had a two hour labour.....not fair. I friggen pushed for a full 2 hours after already being in labour for 13 hours.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

I pushed for 2.5 hours, and ended up with a c-sec. I don't think any level of fitness can prepare you for a big ass baby.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

Pushed out my 10 pound baby in 18 minutes!!! They called me torpedo...mind you I had been in labour for 27 hours :S

Anonymous Anonymous said:

My daughter was 10 pounds 5 oz and I had her in 3 hours. And no, I'm not a porn star, some people just have easier labors.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

Hahahahahaha! The "sit-ups" helped...NOT multiple gangbangs that let the kids swing out like Spiderman on fire. Good luck DNAing for the kids' real dad. I think the studio used Jenna as the cave in the movie the Descent!

Anonymous Anonymous said:

Actually if you know what to do...you can push the babies out in no time. My second child was pushed out in 10 mins. when it was time. All the muscles you need are the ones that help you do #2. That's all you need. So, I guess shes had practice with that...lolol..

I really don't understand why porn stars get the same kind of attention as other celebs. Just trashy folks - and that's just MY opinion. Jenna Jameson isn't worthy of reading about...I put her on the same page as Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan - trashy.

my mother was in labour for 36 hours with me, a ten pound baby, and about 22 hours with my 9 pound sister
OF COURSE pushing a gumball out a vagina that's been stretched to the size of a hummer is going to be easy
