We hear so much about the chemistry between these two. But I think it’s more a matter of wishful thinking from the fans than anything real going on! Although…Rob Pattinson did actually pop the question to Kristen Stewart on set one day!
"Rob is very mysterious and very intense – and totally crazy. He proposed to me one day!"
And Rob responded that he knows he’s crazy. 
"I can’t believe I did that! That’s really getting into character. It’s pretty extreme."
But, that didn’t change anything between them.
Stewart said: "I’m sure he’s proposed to loads of girls before. He’s a complete jokester!"
Pattinson agrees: "My favourite chat-up line when I was younger was to go straight up to a girl and say, ‘Will you marry me? I don’t want to mess around’.
He also adds that he has nothing but admiration for Zac Efron.
"I don’t think I could be the new Zac. I’ve met him and he’s really good at not offending anyone. He’s a really cool guy in reality.
He’ll never do anything that’ll be misconstrued. No one will ever sat, ‘Oh that guy is an idiot.’ There’s nothing bad you can say about him, whereasmI’m told I’m an idiot – frequently!"
Are you among the group of Twilight fans that wants Rob and Kristen to be a real life couple? If so, I’m pretty sure that wish won’t come true anytime soon…she seems pretty stable with her boyfriend Michael Angarano, and then what about the rumors that Rob is dating Nikki Reed?

i think that rob and kristein would make a nice couple it just tht i do think they should go out till after all the films have been made bc if they was to go out then they dumped each other there would not be tht chemistry that there is in the film, you see what im saying lol they would make a nice coupke but she is already taken, so rob looks like you have got some competion on your hands hahahahah….x

I think that he just popped the question as a joke. I’ve read many, many articles about it and it seems to me that he only asked to start a conversation. If they did get married and it didn’t work out, that would be really bad for the twilight movies. I’ve also heard Kristin has a boyfriend. I have no idea if she does or not, but I’m not going to believe the internet and go search it on google. I think this was all just a joke ;]
