Yes, Zac Efron and Michelle Trachtenberg are father and daughter. For the movie 17 Again! They dished with E! Daily 10 about working together on the movie, fallout from it, and growing up in general.
Zac admitted to wondering how he was going to play Michelle's father (in the movie Zac's character has mysteriously become 17 again: hence the title).
That was the scene I was most worried about to be hones. In the whole movie, I didn't know how I was going to console my daughter. You know, I had to put on the daddy pants."
Michelle doesn't seem to have had any worries about playing her character. How does it feel for Michelle to be on the receiving end of hatred by Zac's fans?

When I was reading the twilight books and first heard that there was going to be a movie, Michelle was who I pictured for Bella. Late to be commenting now, but wouldn't she have been perfect?

I thought the same thing! Kristen Stewart is so hit or miss in pics (though I should be so lucky!) Michelle is so perfect for the part and seems to really work hard for her roles both in the film and promoting them. Robert Pattinson promotes the films and his role very well, although I don't think I could ever get tired of him =) but Kristen on the other hand seems bored in interviews and maybe a little ungrateful for the role that made her famous.
after watching 17 Again, i got to wondering, do they ever cast people who are actually high school age to play high school aged kids?
