Winona Ryder At The Grove

Winona Ryder and a friend were spotted shopping at The Grove in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon. Winona is one of those actresses that I will always love even if she never takes on another project in her lifetime. I mean, how can you go wrong with 'Heathers', 'Edward Scissorhands' and 'Mermaids'? HOW?
Isn't it funny that we are seeing her the day after Gwyneth Paltrow put up that blind item that MOST people think is about Winona???? The paparazzi are smart eggs.

OK, so as I read it, Gwyneth babbles on about how there is too much negativity in the world, and gives this example of a thinly (very thinly) veiled conflict in her life and how she rose above it and became a better person. Of course, in the telling of this story, she gives a good hard kick to Winona for a situation that was over years ago. Way to take the high road, Gwyneth.
Gwyneth could be talking about Madonna....she might be secretly happy that Madonna wasn't able to adopt.
I agree she is a great actress.

i think she's a horrible actress. bram stoker's dracula, anyone? it's painful to watch her and keanu attempt british accents for 2 1/2 hours.
I think the newsletter about gossip was very good. But most people missed the point about gossip and started creating gossip trying to figure out who gwyneth was talking about.

Mermaids is one of my alltime favorite movies. I taught my kid to do the "Mrs. Flax" routine with something on his head. The book was even better than the movie, I read it all night, then hid it in the top drawer at work, and read it when on hold. Seriously, and I was the boss, lol. I finished, and wondered, who are they going to get to play those roles? I knew it would be a movie. Dating myself here. But amazing story.
