No, I’m not talking about one of the seven deadly sins. I’m talking about… the internet. Robert Pattinson says the refuses to go online anymore because it’s a pathetic addiction.

Seriously?? WTF I didn’t even know who in the hell he was until a couple of weeks ago… I heard his music and was like WOW… love the voice, has a real blues feel to it freaking love it… now I found out he his like the biggest thing since sliced bread.. DAMN?!? Poor guy he must feel like the whole world is trying to steal his soul..hey guilty I googled his arse also but didn’t have a clue I was just looking for music now I find out he is the NEW TEEN GOD..But seriously he is simply the cutest, and yep if I saw the man in the bar I would think what a cutie. FYI I am one picky lady…seriously. Not saying I would take him home and give him a shower or a comb(cough-laugh) j/k what rude things to print about a person simply hateful. But I’m sure he would be a hoot to have a beer or two with, any man that can laugh at him self is pretty freaking awesome in my book. I can’t say ‘i love him’ don’t know him, however dig the music, in one word SULTRY. The man is going to be here awhile…. atleast the tweenies are hoping. As for me I am in my early thirties and …. just sing ROB…… or play something that makes my heart hurt on the piano… music is reaches across the generations and touches every person of all ages…also timeless. With all that going even if he never was in another movie… ATTRACTIVE.

I wouldn’t say pathetic, I think anyone would be curious to see what people are saying about them. I do think it is an evil thing he is doing to himself though because people can be so mean. After all, the comments are made behind the mask of the internet so no one has accountability for their rudeness. Rob seems like such an honest, sincere person and hopefully the craziness of his fan following does not drive him insane.

He’s so right, unfortunately. Internet is endless. I’m currently trying to stop spending hours on it and believe me, it’s a real addiction and it’s so hard. It’s so easier to go on the Internet and spend hours doing nothing really interesting, rather than discovering a new book or going out. I have to agree with the “pathetic” thing.
OMG — tell me about it!! I think in the next five years there will be a new realm of jobs opening for internet addiction counsellors.
It’s especially pathetic when you spend hours picking on strangers in gossip blogs about how they are wrong because apparently taste isn’t subjective anymore.

It is pathetic. People now think the internet is reality. Its so out of control. Its affecting childrens lives and parents are so preoccupied on the net they fail to be there for their children. I dont know how Vera ever takes her kids outside to enjoy a nice day when she is hemmed up on her computer all day. Depressing.

Although it is easy to get lost in endless trivia on the internet, there are also lots of sites that are educational and of benefit to your mind and body!
And millions of people earn their living via the web – so it’s not all bad!
Rob says he’s embarrassed about looking up IMBd. That’s just a site that lists actors and their credits, upcoming movies and a short biography. A perfectly normal site for an actor to visit. Why do I get the feeling that what Rob is trying to admit to is that he’s wasted hours reading the gossip about himself, and whether he showers and who he’s sleeping with. That might be a tad more embarrassing. ;o)
Hmmm, I think without the internet Rob would be a lot less famous than he currently is.
He’s just talking about us losers, who come to these sites and talk to people we don’t know and form online-alliances. That’s something to be embarassed about – i’m so embarassed about it , just thinking it, I think I need to go out and have some real fun. *cough-cough*
