Amy Winehouse Sponsoring A Child In St. Lucia
The island has certainly moved her to make all kinds of changes in her life, hasn't it?
Amy Winehouse is supposedly planning on sponsoring a child in St. Lucia. I'm glad she's well enough now to be able to think about making someone's life a little better. A year ago, that would have been nearly impossible!
"Amy was talking about adopting in the context of looking
after children on the island, perhaps through some kind of music and
education-based project."
Remember a while back when there were rumors floating around that the singer planned to adopt? Well, that was probably just this news, gone wild.
"Amy is seriously thinking about
adopting. But she is aware it’s going to be incredibly difficult with
her background. She has always wanted to be a mother. She loves St
Lucia and would move there for good in order to adopt." However, the
star’s spokesman insists Winehouse isn’t thinking of adopting in the
literal sense - explaining that the singer is determined to offer a
helping hand to childrens’ community projects in the resort.

Hmm I'm working a crappy casual job and studying at uni and that's what I do. It's great that she's doing something, but come on... with that kind of money she could do a hell of a lot more.
Um. This is an old ass picture. This is a very cool idea, I could totally see her setting up a music school or something for the children. You can tell she is a really nice person who just got caught on drugs for a while. Happened to ALL my girlfriends and I am glad to say they all got better. Good for her I am not a fan of her music but as a person she seems terribly sweet and sincere.
