Is Bree About To Become A Widow Again On Desperate Housewives?

Not again! Out of the housewives, I’ve never understood making Bree a widow. She’s the one who’s far, far funnier married! However, Kyle MacLachlan told Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello that his character’s fate is up in the air at the end of Desperate Housewives this season.

I don’t know Orson’s fate for sure, although I am pretty sure I am
scheduled to be back next season,’ he says. ‘I like these rumors
because they keep people guessing… I want to come back for sure. I
love this show and I think that Orson has gotten interesting again.’"

Apparently some of Bree’s, um, decisions will isolate Orson even further.

I don’t know if Orson’s beyond redemption or not. Regardless, I say, don’t make Bree a widow (or single) again. She’s funniest as a housewife, not single (although Marcia Cross certainly deserved an Emmy for her work the first season when she broke down and cried after finding out her husband had died).

So what do you think? Do you think Orson should go? Do you like Bree better single or married?
