Fred Segal Gets A Reality TV Show

Fred Segal Gets A Reality TV Show

No, not the person: the Fred Segal Store will have its own reality TV show on Bravo. Filming will occur at the Santa Monica location, which is reportedly popular with celebrities, including Isla Fischer, Hilary Duff, Rihanna, Salma Hayek, Kate Beckinsale, Audrina Patridge and Lauren "Lo" Bosworth.

Fred
Segal is a legendary retail haven
synonymous with high fashion and
style, and the fashionistas who work, shop and gossip at the store
promise to have arresting, entertaining, colorful personalities and
lives."

The show will reportedly focus on " the oft-stressed and competitive sales team
as they cater to well-to-do customers who demand the latest in
clothes, shoes, accessories and beauty products."

When I first read this, I thought this was going too far! A store gets a reality TV show? Yet, as I think about it, it makes perfect sense if you like clothes and celebrities (which I do ;)

sounds fun, like the Rachel Zoe Project, celebs, trends, clothes and fashion, how can you miss. Vera, do you hit these places to shop when you go west? Segal, Kitson, etc? I would feel compelled if it wasn't a kid with me thing. Oh heck, I might make them come in for ten minutes!

sounds like a rip off of the Kleinfeld Bridal show on TLC, Say Yes to The Dress. Only this is set in a department store rather than a bridal boutique.
