Faith Hill On The Cover Of Redbook Magazine
Faith Hill did a REALLY cool photo shoot for Redbook Magazine. The issue comes out next month and there will be four different cover versions featuring Faith as herself, as Brigette Bardot, as Twiggy and as Grace Kelly.
How awesome is that? Check out the thumbnails to see Faith channeling each iconic woman in the style of their time. Faith talked about the photo shoot and what it felt like becoming each of these ladies.
On Grace:
“Grace is probably the one that I relate to the most in my life and the one that I have most in common with,” says Hill. “I have this seemingly high-profile life, like Grace did, and we were both the mother of three children. She epitomizes the all-American girl with a quiet class and inner strength. She was like everybody’s girl—seemingly comfortable and accessible—yet untouchable.”
On Twiggy:
“It was hard for me to look at myself as Twiggy,” admits Hill. “I think she was in her late teens when the original photo was taken. And there’s a very big difference between a teenager and a 41-year old!”
On Brigette:
“To be completely candid, I felt least like Brigitte of all three of the women,” says Hill. “To me, sexuality is very different from sensuality. And Brigitte possesses this sensual essence that is so powerful. If I could possess that kind of sensuality, I would want to possess it like she does.”
It must have been so fun for Faith to do hair, makeup and wardrobe to be in character for each one. Which style do you think works best for the modern day country singer?

I like Brigitte look the most and Twiggy the least. She does not look good or even come close to looking like Twiggy.
I think faith hill is one BEAUTIFUL WOMAN. but she lets her ego get the best of her,because the media spends way too much time showing her vanity during critical moments. I know this siren is a real doll, but she should beware and careful, honey the dogs are out to get you and their dying for you to show your fags.

I completely agree...Who does she think she is? I dont even understand this photoshoot...For the most part these icons (you are not an icon Faith, keep dreaming) were at the height of their careers in their early 20's right? Isnt Faith Hill now 40 something?? The whole thing is stupid.
Wow, she looks good on the cover! I love how down to earth she is. She has it all. A wonderful career, great marriage and cute kids! She is a lucky lady indeed!

Faith is not trying to be something she isnt. she is very much like the way Princess Grace was. she is a mother of three and has a career and is very happily married to Tim Mcgraw. I love Faith. this was redbooks idea,not hers. she has a right to her opinion of herself. everyone has an opinion. I love what she did. they did the makeup and she looks better than twiggy did back then, I mean she is 41,she looks very eloquent for her age. she says she is a little insecure,she has a right to say how she feels. but I love her as Bridget. she did a great job.

First and foremost if you dont like Faith then why comment on anything she does. Faith doesnt need your approval or acceptance. She is comfortable in her own skin. She makes no apologizes for being who she is.....true to herself. Faith is a beautiful woman inside and out. Plain and simple Faith is Faith and that something to be very proud of.
