Kelly Osbourne Won't Take Drugs To Help With Weight Loss
Kelly Osbourne refuses to take drugs to lose weight. Great news! Natural is always the healthiest way to go.
She told US TV show ‘Access Hollywood’:
“It’s not like I’m like all the
other celebrities in Hollywood that’s going to go do a line of cocaine to
lose weight. Like, I can’t. I won’t.
“I’m normal and it hurts 10 times more because I can’t numb it. You know you
read it and I’ve never tried to be that kind of girl. The last thing I want
to do right now is read about how fat I am.“I could be really skinny. I really could, but I don’t want to be really
skinny and I like food and I don’t want to be on drugs.”
Isn't it sad that an option for Hollywood is cocaine? I mean, Kelly told a nationally aired network program that she doesn't want to snort drugs to get skinny and it was aired and sent out for press to pick up. Something in society has to change!!

Um, okaaaaaaaaay. I'm a size 4 and don't take drugs to stay thin. It's called DIET and EXERCISE. What a dumb a$$ excuse.

You don't have to do cocaine to be normal/thin/skinny. I watch what I eat and work out about twice a week, I ride my bike to school every day and I walk as much as I can. What she said makes no sense at all.
She will never be thin unless she takes drugs. Good for her.
For people who have suffered through weight loss/weight gain and have real issues with their weight, she makes a valid point. And, I believe some people are judging her too harshly. Eating right and exercising, living the right life style is a process that does not come naturally to some people and can take time to balance.
All she needs to do is eat healthy and workout, it takes time, but with effort it can be achieved. She is not the skinny type anyways.
I weighed 130 lbs at my thinnest on cocaine... you could see EVERY bone in my body (i know, 130 doesnt sound very little, but on my VERY wide frame, it was sick). i've been off of it for almost 2 years and am the happiest i've ever been with myself and my body, and the extra 60 lbs im carrying because i'm HEALTHY again. Go Kelly... it's not worth it. Let them be sick...
Great news that she has stopped taking drugs. But slamming everyone who isn't fat for being a drug addict is taking it a little bit far.
Being healthy and being thin are two VERY different things. I walk nearly five miles a day (I live just over two miles from work and I don't like the bus) and go to the gym three days a week. As a vegetarian and someone who is gluten intolerant, I really have to watch what I eat. I have low blood pressure and a resting heart rate of 50-55 beats per minute...yet, I am a size 12. I think what she is saying is that if she wants to be thin, she would have to resort to unsafe, unhealthy measures. Hollywood only sees thin, they don't see or embrace healthy.
When I quit drugs(oxycontins), I gained 30 pounds, and it was devastating. I think that since she was small before, she feels the need to slim down again. It seems like she wants to do it healthily.

I'm sure the reason she is publicly saying no to drugs is because she's been directly approached with that method. I didn't see it as her slamming every skinny girl as being an addict. - People come in all shapes and sizes, and Kelly is simply a different type than the cookie-cutter Hollywood model. Nothing wrong with that at all. Too bad she gets so much flak for it.
well said lis. I mean look at Lindsay - that really explains alot about her weight loss - it's no secret that she does cocaine. a lot of hollywood and modeling people do drugs to get super super skinny - kate moss anyone??
This post isn't just about cocaine. Adderall for example, is just as prevelant if not more. And it's prescribed incredibly easy, and it's legal.
She is NOT talking about normal everyday women who are skinny - she is talking about Hollywood and you look at the amount of celebs that get very skinny and slim down very quickly cocaine anyone?? Geez people read before you start slamming what she said......

if we could sit next to celebs doing lines every day of the week and if we were the only one in a group at a restaurant who actually eat what we ordered, maybe we would sing the same tune as kelly.

It`s not necessary to be skinny. Just eat healthy and exercise a bit.
