Partial Cast Announced For New Reality Show: I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
Today NBC announced 7 out of 10 of the contestants on their new summer reality TV show: 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' What is this show about, you ask?
'I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!' is the ultimate Swiss Family
Robinson, as ten celebrities are dropped into the heart of the jungle
to face fun and comedic challenges designed to test their survival
skills. America is the puppet master, controlling their favorite
celebrities by putting them into challenges and tasks to win food,
supplies and luxury items."

The final 3 will reportedly be announced at a later date.
Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich could not participate in the show because a judge denied his request for permission to travel to Costa Rica, where the show will be filmed. However, the former governor was involved in the conference call announcing the contestants.
[Blagojevich said:] maybe in some ways the judge was trying to level he playing field.
After all I come out of politics and these celebrities are going to be
dropped in a jungle filled with snakes and reptiles and rats -- and
I've had that experience for 15 years in politics.'To which Stephen Baldwin piped up and said, 'Quite honestly, Rod, I'm the youngest Baldwin brother!' "
Blagojevich said he may still be involved in the show in some way, but in terms of predicting the winner, he said, "I'm putting my money on Janice!"
I'm thinking Janice or maybe John? Torrie doesn't sound like she should be counted out. And can you imagine newlyweds Speidi working against each other (if they manage to survive the early stage as an alliance)?

I won't be watching. Heidi and Spencer would be reason enough, but to include the Fauxhawk loser from AI is stretching the term celebrity. I am sure I can find something better to do with my time.

That show is so old in europe. + it is always a Z-List cast. i cant believe Janice Dickinson participates. Wow. Actually compared to the german version this is more like a d-list cast. at least those people have been on tv for the last year still. in germany they take people who have been some kind of celebrity 10 years ago.
Yeah, this has been around forever in England... only good thing about it is the presenters and the ridiculous tasks (and the unavoidable getting together of contestants!)
Janice Dickenson participated in season 7 of this show (aired in the UK Nov 07) she came 2nd. She must need the money to be doing it again.
