Britney Spears Has A New Addiction - Gardening

Britney Spears is addicted to gardening.
The 'Circus' singer can't get enough of "flower therapy", a system which uses plant essences to "balance physical and emotional
disturbances".
A source said:

“Britney has tried every kind of therapy going. She’s studied
yoga, seen numerous counselors and even experimented with mysticism, but
they’ve never been more than passing fads. This time seems different though. She’s committed to learning as much as
she can about horticulture and how it impacts your well being.

“Whenever she returns to her California home she’s straight out in the
garden working. She’s very proud and knowledgeable about what she’s planted
and what is growing around her house.”

Is touring pulling Britney away from her new passion? Not really. The 27-year-old singer has been spotted reading books including Jack Canfield's 'Chicken Soup For The Gardener's Soul',
backstage. What fun! The source said:

“That book has given her a lot of solace.”

Working in the garden really does bring a sense of quiet and stillness to a person right? While I am not one to plant flowers, I do love to maintain the landscaping.

Any gardeners on INO?

Don't bother I've tried telling her but she doesn't care about her spelling, grammar or how stupid she always comes across. If you try to correct her, she will say you're her stalker...LOL. Is OK to have some errors; but this chick is pathetic.

That's a great idea. Plus, who doesn't love beautiful gardens?

I picked up gardening a few weeks ago and I love it! Its def trial and error and its soothing nurturing plants and flowers. Every one needs positive things in their life so good for her.

It is a great idea for her! I started raising Venus Flytraps at the start of this month, and after trial and error (lots of error) I finally managed to keep everything alive, my new VFT's looking great, and it's been wonderful... they are fascinating plants! I also have a few other plants growing and I tell ya, it's wonderful to wake up, look at my planters on my windowsill, and see how much everything's grown overnight.

I'd rather see her gardening (which is also something she could do with her kids) than how she was when that pap-guy was around her and they were always buying high-priced furniture and such which I am sure she didn't need.

I wish I could; I love flowers. But I always kill everything I try to grow. Poison thumb!

I use garden therapy myself! It was a suggestion from my counsellor and boy what a difference it made to my blood pressure, stress levels and overall balance. It's hard to stress out when you're surrounded by nature's beauty

My therapist tells me to keep a journal about my pain.
She also tells me to discuss my misery in the public.
She never mentioned gardening. But then again, maybe
she knew that I could only grow mold. I can't see a single
beautiful flower growing in any ugly thing of mine.

I wonder where she buys her plants and seed? I'd be willing to give her a discount! Cant be bad for business!

I like Britney. But does this even matter? I mean seriously. Do we care what she does in her personal life that we get so envolved in the simpleist of things...?

When you mentioned 'addiction' I thought it was some other sort of addiction :)) But gardening does sound fun. And whole lot of satisfaction too. I love gardening. I got two gardens at my house. Thanks for the information. Cheers

Well gardening is one of the perfect ways to get the satisfaction of life and also to feel the beauty in it..I also love gardening, moreover i highly believe that gardening can make a huge positive change in anyone's life. Nurturing the plants and looking at the eye catching scenery of the garden beauty help to relax the mind which eventually relaxes the body and soul..Those who live with nature are also protected by nature!
