I Wonder If Melissa Rivers Was Upset She Got Fired?

Um... wow!

I don't watch 'Celebrity Apprentice', so I don't know exactly what went down that caused Melissa Rivers to get fired by Donald Trump. But whatever happened, she wasn't agreeing with it.

Joan left as well in support of her daughter. Ouch!

I managed to miss last night's episode so I don't know what happened, but did it really warrant such a childish display on their part?! wow!

Wow. What a bunch of classless assholes. Joan Rivers' face is uber scary...stuff of nightmares.

I watch Celebrity Apprentice (like practically every other reality tv show, my guilty pleasure!!) but I TiVo'ed last nights episode and haven't watched it yet. I'm surprised Melissa is gone, Im interested to see what led up to that. But honestly, Brandi and Annie are VERY controlling and aggressive. I would have gotten pissed too If I left before them.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

I watched. *spoiler alert* Annie was two faced as usual and stabbed Melissa int he back. Brandi was just as bad although I think she's just dumb and following Annie's lead. They wouldn't let Melissa contribute to the task, and when they got in the boardroom they said she didn't contribute so she should be fired. Joan called Annie and Brandi some colorful names to their faces. Classic! Joan Rivers rules! lol

OMGGGGGGGG! We watch the show and I was APPALLED by Melissa and Joan's behavior! What a bunch of SPOILED, BOTOXED family members. Not only do they both look AWFUL, but they act worse than they LOOK! How is that possible?! I can't stand either of them and I truly hope they fail at any new careers they embark on. Bitter? Yes. But it really was the most immature thing I've ever seen.

EXACTLY what I was thinking. You are a public figure and an adult. I don't care what happened, you compose yourself and move on, not throw a tantrum.

I don't watch this show normally, but I have to say that I actually really respect that Melissa and Joan are in each other's corners the way that they are. I managed to see the preview for last night's show and part of the previous episode and the Playboy girl and her homely sidekick were obviously out to get Melissa from what Iit looked like. And it appeared that Melissa was genuinely trying to contribute to the team she was on. Good for both of them (the Rivers women) for deciding to not play along with the idiotic manipulations of a reality show. It would have showed far less integrity for them to have sat back and taken it silently. IMO, of course. :)

I find it childish that Mr. Trump passed a note to Jim Cramer and I am sure it was to get him to change his verdict and fire Millissa instead of Brandy which is the direction he was going in. The reason was I am sure becouse Melliss Rivers said "Can I finish!!!" when he tried to interupt her. He is not accustom to people being disresprectful to him. However it is indeed about ratings becouse they lost that tasc not becouse of Millissa, They should focus on the task at hand not who will bring in more viewers the next show or bring in more money in my oppinion. And as for Jim Cramer, if Mr. Trump wrote on that note get up and act like a chicken he would have sucked up like everyone else trying to kiss up to the Trumpster. I disrespect a person who can not think for themselfs and go with their own thoughts. But with all the money and power as the Trumps have few would dare to argue sadly!

They both look like hell, but how sad is it when Joan somehow looks "better" then Melissa?

I watch very little TV, but I have been watching the Apprentice this season. I am sorry to see Melissa go because she does seem like she's one of the more intelligent, competent contestants. (And I also think she sealed her own fate by speaking disrespectfully to Donald Trump last night.) Having said that, I am not sure why she was so angry about being fired. There is only one winner on the show, so every contestant (except one) will eventually be fired. She was not one of the first celebrities to go, so she has no reason to be embarrassed. Her failure to fundraise as much as the other women increased her chances of being the next contestant to go.

Regarding the "ambushing" of Melissa, Brandi really is a gorgeous woman, but she clearly is not the sharpest tool in the shed. Annie, who is wily and manipulative (and a little too arrogant to really like) has obviously aligned herself with Brandi because she can act as her puppetmaster. Any viewer with half a brain can see right through Annie, and Joan does not have to shout dramatic insults to state the obvious. Annie intentionally took control of most of the tasks last night, then she complained that she had so much more to do compared to the other celebrities.

My favorite celebrity on the show is Jesse, but I think he'll be one of the next two to go. Bottom line, biggest fundraiser will win. My prediction is that it will be abrasive Annie, despite the fact that the other contestants (except clueless Brandi) and viewers don't really like her.

100% agree w/ the puppet master comment. I'm surprised Donald, Ivanka or the other guy didn't point that out. It's very obvious. I was also extremely surprised by Jesse's actions last night. He WAS my favorite but that was way out of line and I feel so bad for Clint... he may not listen well, but he's trying and hasn't fed in to anyone's vicious behavior... nor will he.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

Annie is a master player and there is nothing wrong with that. Joan can't bring herself to fire anyone? Give me a break, she brings total carnage with her mouth. Remember how she wasn't going to speak with Clint ever again and was going to go home and break all his CDs in her house. LOL. And calling anyone Hitler is beyond obscene. I can't believe that twice Trump has mentioned her having a "heart."

Yes, I get that Melissa was upset but she didn't defend herself well--all she did was whine and talk about conspiracies against her. Annie was right, Melissa's ideas for a 4-page ad were more suited to Redbook rather than Sports Illustrated which was the task at hand.

Clint has improved his listening skills and Jessie was out of line. If he thought his expertise in the area of magazines was exceptional, he should have volunteered to be project manager.

Annie should be on Survivor. She is a snake.

All she did was justify the decision that was made by acting like a bitch. I don't see why any company would want either Joan or Melissa working for them if they are so selfish and childish.

I can't believe people on this board - do you not watch the show? Melissa Rivers has been acting like a spoiled brat since episode 1. Everytime someone doesn't use her idea she pouts and calls them names. How many times has she, like Annie, professed how talented she is and what her skills are and how much she has accomplished. She's so full of herself she can't take any more botox injections. And mommy dearest...that's a pitiful excuse for a mother. Mother's should support their children but not hurl the most stupid insults when baby girl throws a tantrum. SOOO ridiculous. If this is how the famous are, then I'm glad I'm just a regular person. The one thing everyone forgets - it's a GAME. It's a game where you manipulate things in your favor so you don't get fired. Melissa saw what was going on but she just whined about it all day and did nothing to circumvent it...because she's not as smart as the Nazi and the dumb blonde. LOL. The Rivers are a better joke than Joan ever came up with. By the way, someone tell Joan her faced died 15 years ago. Her face has been pulled so far back that if you sucked face with her you'd clean out her sinuses.

I watched the show and thought Annie and Brandi were conniving. Poor Melissa tried so hard to contribute but the other two shut her out. How's anyone suppose to work under that kind of situation? I don't get the people who are calling Melissa spoiled. I mean, how would you like it if people shut you out? Joan Rivers did what any loving mother would do - stand up for her daughter.

Annie and Brandi act like trash. One's a playboy model and the other's a poker player. Come on !!!!

Feel sorry for Donald Trump. Probably the only way for him to feel good about himself is to exert power over people. Sad.

I think it was kinda childish for Joan to quit. They did sign up for a Reality Game Show. I get it they are close- but damn, they are grown folk!
