Salma Hayek's Wedding Turned Into A Sing-Along!
Salma Hayek's big wedding festivities were this past weekend and it sounds like the celebration was a good one. Her guest list was totally star-studded, but the A-listers weren't too cool for a good old fashioned kareoke party!
The music kicked in during the ceremony, when the 150 guests – among them Penélope Cruz, Javier Bardem, Ed Norton, Woody Harrelson, Charlize Theron, Stella McCartney and Ashley Judd – serenaded the couple with a Hawaiian-style version of the sentimental classic from The Wizard of Oz, "Over the Rainbow."
You have to love it! I can only imagine how hilarious that must have been! Salma got in on the action too!
Later at the elegant reception, Hayek, Theron and Harrelson joined Bono
and Damien Rice on stage for a rendition of something bouncy: "Stand By
Me."
Charlize and Stella also treated the guests to "Don't Cry For Me Argentina."
Forget the paparazzi photos, can we get a video of this please?!?

So decadent!
OMG - would you take a look at the heel-height on Salma's shoes?! I would love to be able to walk in something like that. She looks like she's really cruising along, too!
Great to see the celebs being real people occasionally, at least for the rest of us to take notice of. Sounds like it would have been a great party, everyone seems to be having a great time. Did that video ever turn up, or could you find it anywhere that we can take a look. Would be a great clip I can imagine??
That is very cool! I have been working for a New orleans Wedding photography company for many years and I have to say that is great.
Thanks for the great post!
Way too funny!
