Sarah Jessica Parker And Matthew Broderick Expecting Twin Girls

Sarah Jessica Parker And Matthew Broderick Expecting Twin Girls

If you wondered how on earth Sarah Jessica Parker managed to hide a pregnancy with twins, well the answer is: she didn't. She and husband Matthew Broderick are expecting the twins through a surrogate pregnancy.

The couple's publicist says the new parents are "overjoyed."

They already have a son, James Wilkie Broderick, who is 6 years old.

I bet those twins will be mini-fashionistas (in an age-appropriate way, of course)!

Congratulations to the couple!

Really? Because a tabloid speculates that their marriage is in trouble it is? They always seem to be happy in each other's company when they are out and they seem to share parenting well. Sad when rumors are taken as truth.

No offence to you, but the entire idea of celebrity and all the stuff that is posted about them is all speculation nothing is ever for sure.

Know anyone who has used surrogates? It doesn't always go well, or as planned, and that can be super stressful to the parents to be. That may explain a lot of the sad faces and demeanor folks have taken to be something else. I am very happy for them.

I have twin girls via a surrogacy and it was a wonderful experience! ... They are 2.5 years old now, and we have no regrets. We are doing a 'sibling project' (same surrogate AND same egg donor next year).

We are only putting one embryo back though as we dont want to risk twins again (too many risks).

Congrats to them! Surrogacy is great for us infertile bunnies. (i'm only 32 but suffered pre-mature menopause).

WTF? I have nothing against this, but that is SO random!

I don't get it....why is this "random"?

Anonymous Anonymous said:

From what I read on EW, they have tried unsuccessfully for years to get pregnant again and had many failed procedures before finally attempting a surrogate. I don't find that random at all, in fact they are far from the first couple to do it.

As for the "failing marriage" anyone who has suffered through infertility will tell you that it is incredibly hard on a marraige, hell for a fertile couple trying to conceive can be stressful as well. I totally get their "marriage problems" if they wre struggling with IF.

prob had to do it thru a surrogate... i hear this one's like cuddling up to a piece of gristle, too.

I am so happy for them. Obviously their marriage is not that broken I mean they went thru all this work to find a surrogate and they spent years trying to get preggers again. I am glad to see 2 people that choose to work on their marriage instead of just throwing it away when it gets tough. I wish them nothing but the best, how exciting.

Someone please tell me why all these celebrities are having TWINS? What's suppost to be an exception in nature is becoming a fashion trend, it's kind of sick.
Just in the last 2 years or so, they all had twins: Jennifer Lopez, Angelina Jolie, Marcia Cross, Rebecca Romjin, Charlie Sheen's wife... Statistically it's impossible, all these babies were artificially concieved.

ummm it says via SURROGATE..did you think it happened naturally ?!?!

It is called Fertility drugs most of these women are around 40 years old. Your odds of getting pregnant on your own are super low at that stage in life. So they are either doing one of two things Invitro-Fertilization where typically you'll be implanted with TWO embryo's, both take, so you get twins. Or they are taking fertility drugs that cause them to shoot out multiple eggs each cycle one again equaling multiples.

She has said that she dresses her son in hand-me-downs, so why would she do any differently for new kids?

Um, why does Matthew Broderick look like Sherlock Holmes?

Bummer. He should've gotten away from that b**ch when he had the chance. Now he's trapped. Babies a failing relationship do not save. You'd hope both would've been mature enough to figure that out by now but evidently not.
