Leona Lewis Suffers Injuries After Being Thrown From A Horse

Oh no! Leona Lewis was given a horse from a dear friend. While attempting to ride it, it headbutted her and threw her to the ground causing the singer to suffer a split lip and facial injuries.

A source told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper:

“Leona has been riding since
she was a child and has never had a fear of horses. So she was really shaken
up when the horse turned on her. Something startled the horse and it flicked
its head back and smacked Leona full in the face.

She was knocked flying by the force of it. Thankfully, she didn’t need any
surgery but was told to stay at home and rest just in case she passed out
with concussion.”

Leona has now been forced to postpone recording her second album after being
ordered to rest. Better safe than sorry.

“She had been due in the studio to record but she felt
shaken up so they had to cancel.
“It has pushed everything back, but she’s such a hard worker she’ll easily
make up for lost time.”

Hope she feels better!

the horse “turned on her”!? easily the most ridiculous thing i’ve ever heard hahah. it couldn’t have “headbutted” her while she was riding unless it reared or threw its head up suddenly, and either case indicates she’s either a piss poor rider or her horse was SCARED (not bad!). Why was she leaning so far forward? It’s pretty damn hard to get facial injuries from that. I’m guessing she face-planted on the ground. I actually like Leona, but I wish these celebs wouldn’t ride horses or at least not propagate the idea that there is such a thing as a BAD horse. Nrrr! Pet peeve.
