Someone asked in the comments the other day whether or not celebs were worried about swine flu like the rest of the world…and here’s your answer. Pretty much.
Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt actually had to cut their honeymoon to Mexico short because they were worried they could fall ill.
Spencer says,
"After the best day of both our lives, Heidi and I left LA Sunday for
Cabo to shoot the music video for Heidi’s new single, "Blackout." We
planned to stay through Sunday. Unfortunately, due to the pig flu
epidemic, the Pratts are headed home this evening."
I’m surprised they went back home rather than fly to someplace swine flu hasn’t hit yet! How sad they had to cut the honeymoon short.
And on a totally different subject, will Heidi start going by Heidi Pratt now? I’m definitely not used to the sound of that!

OMG! They don’t need to wear the masks. 1. They mask isn’t doing anything to prevent the swine flu. The flu is spread by direct contact, and NOT via the air. And 2. If they wanted to protect themselves, THOSE are NOT the masks they need. Sheesh. Idiots.

it wasn’t their honeymoon, just a trip to do her ‘music’ video. They are still holding out until MTV pays for their honeymoon to somewhere else.
little fact – it used to be tradition to pour a spoonful of honey on the hands of newly married couples, they would have to lick it off each other to symbolize that they would take all of their meals together, the husband would never lift his hand towards his wife and the wife would always speak kindly about her husband, hence – HONEYmoon

Anyway,i think more people die from normal flu each year than combine the pig and chicken flu together…don´t know what is the truth but i get the feeling that Roshe pharmaceutical company made to much Tamiflu that needs to be sold,so as i said don´t know what to think and i don´t believe those flues just happen and are not known,is to much money and mafia behind all those pharmaceutical companies,sadly..
These 2 are such complete losers. Totally fake and a prime example of how you need absolutely NO talent to become famous. What we consider newsworthy these days is pathetic.
They both need to go away. They will do anything to get press and it’s amazing how many people still want their pictures for their magazines. Stop reporting on them and maybe they will go away.

What a publicity stunt?! Why did they even go to Mexico in the first place?!?!?!?!?! They knew about swine flu on Sunday. The whole world knew about it on Sunday. They just went to get publicity.

Check out the CDC weekly flu outbreak charts and you can see that there is less flu outbreaks reported now this week, than the 1st week in march, of this year. It sounds more like a big media frenzy to try and create the feeling of panic to move the US closer to socialized medicine. Why doesn’t the news report on the current flu stats versus last year or years before stats for a comparison. That might be a story .
The media is in panic mode. They hype it up, scare you, all so you will tune in and see what the ‘breaking news’ is. Their ratings soar. As for Heidi and Spencer…if they are that damn worried about getting sick, maybe they should stay home for a bit. Attention ho’s.
You know, I have been cheering her on to break up with him since day one because I thought he was a shady b@stard and she deserved better. Until the most recent episode of the Hills. He is absolutely correct, and perfect for her. She would be bored silly and cheating on him in a week if he were anyone else other than that rat b@stard Spencer. And I’m glad Lauren showed up to her wedding. Friends should be friends regardless of who’s with what man.
