If you would have told me that this picture of Robert Downey Jr. playing Tony Stark was from the original ‘Iron Man‘, I would have believed you. BUT I am not a fanatic when it comes to superhero movies.
USA TODAY released the first shot from the upcoming ‘Iron Man 2‘ and it shows Robert surrounded by a variety of gear for his alterego.
Director Jon Favreau says this movie will be about Tony struggling to live with the many parts that make him who he is.
“How many superheroes are open about their true identities?” Favreau asks. “We wanted to play with that idea. But it obviously has consequences – in his relationships, on the team. There are a lot of areas we can explore.”
