Just as I posted about how Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon making their relationship last, I found this sad news. Nas and Kelis are filing for divorce. They’ve been married since 2005 and she’s currently 7 months pregnant. That’s really awful. 
Her rep states:
“I can confirm that she has filed for divorce… We request the media to respect her privacy during this very difficult time."
Laura Wasser (Britney’s divorce attorny) filed the papers yesterday. Apparently Laura does EVERY celeb divorce case out there.
Kelis wants them to have joint legal and physical custody of the unborn baby. I wonder what happened to make them break up at this stage of the game.

Being 7 months pregnant myself, I’d definitely say hormones. I’ myself have considered it more than I’d like to admit. Hopefully it’s just that & she’ll have a change of heart.

This is a bit off topic. But this girl is TRASH. (Isn’t this her mugshot photo from when she assaulted an undercover officer?) I wouldn’t wish divorce on anyone…(their reasons are private)…but I never thought she was grateful or appreciative for anything her success had brought her.
Its people like that talk out the side of their neck without an ounce of fact about what their saying….. Infact that night the undercover cop was harassing her and she ended up winning that case so get your facts straight before you run off the mouth posting mis information. How do you know she’s trash…..do you know her personally….hmmm I think not !!! Also, she may have her reasons for divorcing him…..do us all a favor and stop sipping that hatorade !
I dunno…I always thought they were an “interesting” couple. But given the circumstances, it’s definitely sad that they are separating.
I thought they were so cute…love her and love nas…there have been rumblings for a while. WOW…to file while 7 months pregnant…she must’ve really wanted to get out. And I don’t think she is trash…she is out of pharrel and the neptunes camp…

Maybe its because he’s been verbally abusive and fuc*s anything that moves. Yeah, that’s probably it.
Most states will not let you divorce while pregnant. I wonder if it is the hormones, but looking back at some blind items, wasn’t there one that had to do with a singer and the fact that she is pregnant with someone other than her husband’s child rumor going around? We’ll see what develops I suppose. Divorce is so hard, it has to be something truly unforgivable to justify divorce in my eyes.
Actually ZERO states won’t allow you to divorce while pregnant. Way to make stuff up.
I wonder if things got out of hand because of the hormones.
