As some of you know, I've been working overtime trying to rev up my Beauty and Fashion section. I took on about 12 interns and we are all going insane trying to keep up with the events making sure INO readers get the latest sneak peeks and event coverage.

So much work - but so much fun!

One of this week's functions was with St. Jude's Hospital. Design Cares presented “Kaleidoscope of Dreams,” a fashion event and runway show of evening gowns by internationally renowned designers, including: Adrienne Landau, Carlos Alberto, Carolina Herrera, Catherine Malandrino, Chado Ralph Rucci, Diane von Furstenberg, John Galliano, Maggie Norris Couture, Marc Jacobs Collection, Neil Bieff, Matthew Williamson, Michael Kors, Nicole Miller, Vera Wang, Versace, and Yigal Azrouël.

Can you IMAGINE? All on one runway!

All runway gowns were donated from the designers to be auctioned off at the event and online to benefit St. Jude, one of the world’s premier pediatric cancer research centers.

Nolcha donated their services in the backstage production. This is the organization that offered me the invite, so a big thanks to them.

Cameras weren't allowed backstage so all credit goes to Aracelis Batista.

Lindsay Price, Christian Siriano, Phillip Bloch and Veronica Webb all donated their time and effort to make the evening simply spectacular. Click on the thumbnails below to get a look at some of the designs that were offered.

I'm so hyped up over the MET gala this year. I hope INO is following it. I'm a fashion whore!!! I'd LOVED to be one of INO interns. Anyhoo... Veronica Webb and Channel Iman are looking FAB!!! I'll check back Monday nite to see if you guys have any info(pictures) on the gala.

Why would you want to intern - intern means that you don't get pd to help build Vera's business. Not only that but Vera is rolling in money and pays no one. It seems like fun to get to go to these events - and as vera says - you get to keep the swag - oooh - and she gets to keep the advertising money. Lucky you.

experience? for fun? for swag? for the love of fashion?

again - you get the experience. yes - you do have fun. The swag bags are not too great - Vera gets to go to the ones that give the good swag bags. If you love fashion do something for yourself instead of making money for someone else. Vera pays no one - how many people work for her?? Her last pd job ad was $5 per post - can you say cheap?? and i am sure her bank acct is growing exponentiantially.
But as long as your having fun and get to keep a memo pad and some lipstick for going to the event more power to you:)
