Just in time for Mother’s Day, Parentdish did a poll on people’s feelings towards celebrity moms.
Portia De Rossi and Ellen came out on top for who moms would feel most comfortable leaving their children with! And Oprah ranked last. What?!? I can’t even believe that!
- Moms voted newlyweds Ellen and Portia the celebrities they’d most feel comfortable leaving their children with
- Jennifer Aniston outpaced ex-Brad and rival Angelina Jolie in the same category. Shockingly, Oprah finished last.
- Jennifer Garner voted best celebrity mom besting Michelle Obama and Reese Witherspoon (Michelle only beat Reese by 3 votes)
- Moms voted Courtney Love worst celebrity mom- beating Dina Lohan by two votes
- Claire Huxtable (The Cosby Show) bests Roseanne Connor (Roseanne) as TV mom that’s most like your real life mom
- Jada Pinkette-Smith voted best step-mother
Hmm, I wonder if the results of an INO poll would come out any different. Are Courtney and Dina really the worst celeb moms out there, because a few others with less than stellar parenting skills to my mind…

I wouldn’t leave my kids with any of them. They may look cool but who knows if they can be good babysitters.
this poll is so dumb! i’d rather leave my kids with someone who does their own parenting and doesn’t pay a nanny to do all the work!

I think people are getting the Courtney’s mixed up. Courtney Cox is the one who starred on Friends. Courtney Love is the crazy one who was married to Kurk Cobain. I wouldn’t leave my kids with her! I think the moms who took the poll mixed the two up. Oops!

How did Britney Spears’ mom not make the list? She is awful. I think any parent that pushes their children into the spotlight like that should be shot. But, Dina Lohan and Courtney are horrible. What mother takes their children into a nightclub and party with them. Lindsey is a grown woman now and is responsible for her own behavior, but with parents like hers it is not surprising that she is so messed up. I mean, just think of how you would have turned out if you had parents that let you do whatever you wanted and never told you ‘NO.’ Also, I think Courntey’s daughter was raised by her grandmother. If I had kids, I definately wouldn’t mind leaving them with Ellen and Portia. Ellen is AMAZING with kids and she has so much personality.
Kate Gosselin gets my vote for worst mother.
Can you imagine Oprah changing a diaper? I can’t picture it. I also can’t imagine having a mother like Roseanne Connor. Yuck.

I would leave me kids ANYDAY with Ellen and Portia. They are very kind-hearted and love kids. They are probably the only two people in Hollywood I would trust, besides Jada Pinkett Smith and Michelle Obama but she’s not really “Hollywood”.

Hands down Dina Lohan is the WORST mother ever. Courtney may be crazy but so far her daughter hasn’t done anything scandalous and she doesn’t take her to clubs.
I wouldn’t trust my kids with Skankolina or Oprah either. Oprah can’t even keep her dogs safe.
Have you not heard that there have always been suspicions of Love being responsible for Cobain’s death? I’m sorry.. but if there is doubt that you aren’t innocent in the murder of your child’s father you are automatically the worst mom!!!
Dina is the worst I can think of. Maybe Octomom, but she isn’t a celebrity, just a notorious nutjob. I can see Jennifer A giving a kid a bong instead of a bottle to quiet him down. I love Ellen and Portia, good choice on that one.

I think Jennifer would be a cool mom….Ellen would be fun too. I picture Michelle being a little strict but well grounded. I don’t think Oprah wouldn’t be so bad but she got way too much going on – she’s a busy woman. I would never in a million years let my children go near Courtney or Dina!!

Not shocked AJ and BP weren’t at the top of the list. Anyone who tries so hard to convince everyone they’re great parents usually aren’t. Anyone who tries so hard to convince everyone they’re great at ANYTHING usually isn’t. But that doesn’t mean they aren’t trying. 6 kids in 3 years? Yeah, I’d rethink that.
I’d leave my kids with Ellen/Portia and Jennifer Garner first. When Ellen has kids on her show, you can tell she adores them and Violet is the happiest Hollywood kid, hands down. Michele rounds at my top 3 list. Dina is probably one of the worst, but I’d throw the Hogans in there with her. Yikes! Not sure about Courtney….however, her daughter seems pretty well adjusted and so far hasn’t been in any trouble, so she can’t be too terrible. I still wouldn’t leave my kids with her, though. I’d trust Nicole Richie, too. Motherhood has worked wonders on that girl!
Please, Courtney must be doing something right, so far Frances seems a nice & intelligent girl who doesn’t walk around looking like a skank like Lindsay. Dina basically pimps her daughters.

i agree with the above comments. courtney is INSANE and i feel sorry for her daughter, but dina is way worse.
First of all let just remember Courtney lost custody of Frances Bean….she was raised by her grandmother!!!
