That’s too bad! I know a lot of people are big fans of ‘Gossip Girl’ and really wanted to see the spin off happen so that they could get their fix twice a week. 
But, it looks like it won’t be happening after all.
Peter Roth loved its yesteryear vibe, [but] the showwent from hot, to
lukewarm, to "fading but wouldn’t count out", to now dead.
However, the new ‘Melrose Place’ has been picked up again, while the CW is still deciding on the ‘Vampire Diaries’ as well as ‘A Beautiful Life’ produced by Ashton Kutcher and starring Mischa Barton.
Brittany Snow had been slotted to play the lead in the Gossip Girl spin off, it’s too bad she won’t have the chance anymore.
Are you sad that this one isn’t making the line up of new shows, or are you sick of GG anyways?

well next week they are giving us a little taste of what the spinoff would be like. they are going to go back to the 80′s…….if its actually good and they dont do the spinoff then that sucks. but if its really not that interesting then good they’re not doing it.
i would have watched it for sure, but probably begrudgingly.

I wanted to see the spin off, after seeing the episode with the 80s flashbacks it looked pretty good
was obsessed with the episode and would looovve to see the spin off. maybe as a summer filler? as a die-heart gossip girl/a-list fan it would be the best of both worlds.
