Jessica Simpson Performs At The Dixon May Fair

Whenever I get pictures of Jessica Simpson performing, I immediately head over to a few fan sites to read how she did. As usual, the crowd was not disappointed!
Singing from the heart, offering nothing but smiles and a great time, Jessica Simpson had the crowd going at the Dixon May Fair in Sacramento Valley.
Has anyone had the opportunity to see Jessica sing live? I would LOVE to catch one of her shows.

She looks cute. The sad part is, she is one of the few 90's pop girls who can actually sing. The other being Xtina. But her sideshow of a personal life just got too distracting. I blame Papa Joe.

hey i saw jessica in that concert i took hella pics and i was a good concert exept that every time she stoped to talk she sounded like she was crying and stuff it was pretty bad. i also herd that she was drunck that is why she sounded like that!! but she is a great enternainer if you put aside all of those things.

She looks so much thicker-waist, thighs, everywhere- in these pictures than she does on the cover of Vanity Fair. I guess these pictures are proof that the cover was photoshopped quite a bit.

Lol! She's like some portly zombie who having no talent of her own, feasts on the talent of others to prolong her life in the tabloids. She's destroyed the careers of Nick Lachey and Romo. And what have Bam Majera and Johnny Knoxville done lately? Isn't John Mayer reduced to singing on cruise ships now? It's the curse of Jessica, the portly zombie.

The cruise ship comment amused me. I assume you're referring to the cruise party he hosts every year in silly outfits?
I was at the Dixon Mayfair concert where this photo was taken . . . she arrived an hour late, seemed drunk, didn't connect with the audience (seemed "glassy") and had to restart one song three times because she forgot the lyrics (her excuse was that she didn't write the song). On the plus side her boobs were very pushed-up, her legs were gorgeous and her spray tan was heavy (I guess that is all that matters for most fans).
I am from Dixon (originally) and growing up the May Fair was a big deal because Dixon was a very small town (10,000 people) and there is nothing to do. Very hick-like, lots of farmers. It's really weird to see such big names come to the May Fair to perform now. I don't know that I'd want to see Jessica Simpson, though.

I live in California. Last year she played at the California State Fair, this year the Dixon May Fair which is just outside of Sacramento. The Dixon May Fair is smaller than the State Fair. I like Katnip think its wierd when supposed "big names" are playing at county fairs!
okay sooo i live in dixon, have for 15 years(my whole life) we now have around 18 thousand people, but thanks for your low estimation "katnip". anywayss the mayfair IS a big deal, we get out of school early too, but its been around for a longgg time, not quite sure about the total number of years but more or less than 100. and she kinda sucked this year... me and my friends left after she couldn't remember the words and had to ask her band for help. half the time when she was speaking and not singing, she didn't really make a lot of sense. yeah sure, the crowd smiled, but it wasn't for the reasons she hoped(: i had muchh more fun on the zipper.
oh! and we aren't suchh a hicktown anymore. other than at a petting zoo i don't think me or my friends have ever lived or taken responsibility for any part of a farm. and no there's still not much to do, but thats kinda why we go to vacaville, ten miles away, or sacramento, 30 miles away. just saying.
If you are under the age of 10, I'll give you a break. If not, stay in school honey, you need the education.
Well I love the May Fair and go every year! It is a big to do and I am proud to come from and live in a hick town.
Jessica Simpson was terrible! I agree with the comments above. She arrived at 7:42pm, the group I was sitting with started taking bets when she was going to get on stage! She was supposed to start at 7:00pm. As she tried to sing, yes she messed up the lyrics three times on one of the songs and I think the third time she just slurred the word while her crew picked up the slack. Her concert was very depressing, she could have stood up there nude and it would have still been depressing. She did a lot of what I would call so call talking because she barely made any sense at all between songs.
At one point she walked off the stage and the next thing you know her band is introducing themselves, I thought ok, maybe she is changing her outfit...NOPE she came out a few minutes later in the same outfit., so what the heck did she go do? Puke? She sounded like she could have been drunk, high or something...
The next night at the Dixon May Fair was Chris Isaack he was AWESOME! I will go see him again any day. Jessica could take some lesson from him!
