Freida Pinto And Evangeline Lilly Are The Newest World Spokespeople For L'Oreal Paris
L'Oreal Paris has just announced their two newest world spokespeople: 'Slumdog Millionaire' star Freida Pinto and 'Lost' star Evangeline Lilly. They join current spokeswoman Elizabeth Banks.
'On the eve of the Cannes Festival, to which I want to reiterate our attachement, L'Oreal Paris is delighted that these great stars of world cinema have agreed to represent our brand,' states Jean-Jacques Lebel, President L'Oreal Consumer Products."
Freida issued the following statement:
I am very moved to be joining the great L'Oreal Paris family and all these personalities: a family I am now proud to be a part of."
Evangeline had this to say:
It is a source of great pride for me to represent a brand whose ambition is to respnd to every person's aspirations to beauty, and contribute to the fulfillment and well-being of everyone."
I think those are two great choices! Congratulations to Freida and Evangeline, and kudos to L'Oreal for selecting them!
Now if only we could get Evangeline to spill just one, or maybe two, secrets about the 'Lost' finale...

Freida Pinto, yay! Evangeline Lilly, ewww. She had the outside beauty, but I don't think so much on the inside. So how can she "represent a brand whose ambition is to respond to every person's aspirations to beauty, and contribute to the fulfillment and well-being of everyone" when she is rude and whiny?

is that Evangline Lilly in the last 3 pics in the thumbnail?? if it is then she's ugly...well not ugly but she's definitely not in the same league as Freida. Frieda is strikingly beautiful and photogentic while the other lady is so blah looking.

I don't get the appeal of evangeline nor matthew fox, they're both as boring as they could be (their characters). but i bet evangeline is right now crying a river for being so beautiful :D
It’s hard knock life for Evangeline Lilly trying to get by when all people see is her beautiful face. “Why God Why did you make me so beautiful” as she cry’s herself to sleep yet again. Also remember when she said she was going to quite Lost because she was tired of fans of the show approaching her? I’m sure some fans can be obsessive but what a slap in the face to the rest of us.

Wow theres a lot of Evangeline hate going on here, she probably a lot prettier than most of the people that are put her down. I for one think that she is perfect for this brand...and "couldn't act her way out of a paper bag" - i doubt she really cares as she has said she doesn't plan to say in the business forever but she does have a Golden Globe nomination to her name ;)

If you read my post which is the very first one, you would notice I said she's beautiful on the outside. What she is NOT is beautiful on the inside which I am not just saying to hate on her, I am saying it based on the way she has acted and her horrible attitude towards people.

“ just don't think she has the charisma to represent a brand” Have you actually seen any of her talkshow interviews especially the Jimmy Kimmel and Craig Fergison ones?. She has more charisma in her pinky finger than most people in Hollywood put together. She’s absolutely hilarious and a total hoot. Not forgetting that she has flawless skin and look great with hardly any make up. I think she’s perfect for the brand.

Those award shows are often choose popularity over talent (often not always) . And Lilly's the lead female on a huge tv show.

I'm not saying she's a bad person, just her whole attitude seems a bit fake”. I’ve haven’t seen a talk show interview of her acting stuck up . I think a lot of people that go on talk shows are very reserved and quiet probably because they nervous and don’t want to say anything stupid just in case it harms their “image”.But just because she is comfortable and confident being on tv it doesn’t make her fake or stuck up, in fact it makes her more “real” because it doesn’t look like she is being told what to say by her PR team.

Maybe that’s how it works on other shows but this is Lost so how is she supposed to have a huge influence on her character when the actors don’t even know where the storyline is going?. She has said many times that she is tired of the love triangle and of Kate crying all the time. Now if Evangeline did have influence on her character im sure the writers & producers would grant her wishes and get rid of those two elements and give her a better story arc. The fact is that if everyone on that show got what they wanted it would mess up the ending of the show. The producers knew what the ending was even before they filmed season 1.

We can have his discussion till be are blue in the face but at the end of the day Evangeline is laughing all the way to the bank regardless of what anyone thinks of her.
