Alanis Morissette has signed onto Showtime’s greatest hit to play Dr. Audra Kitson, a "no-nonsense obstetrician" who treats pregnant Nancy.
Morissette will appear in at least seven of the season’s 13 episodes,
which kick off June 8.The recording artist joins Jennifer Jason Leigh
(who was recently cast as Nancy’s estranged older sister) as one of
Season 5′s rather special guest stars.

Sweet! I’m still watching the rest of season 4. I guess Nancy gets herself knocked up. LMAO I cannot wait for the new season! Weeds & Nurse Jackie are going to be my summer indulgences.

OMG! Weeds is like the best thing going south. I believe that Alanis will add so much character to the show. Every season, I watch the prior season to stay caught up on it, so when people ask me questions I can give them accurate info. I was sitting next to my co-worker who stopped watching it when the DEA agent was killed, I had to catch her up on the goods. WEEDS I CANT WAIT FOR YOU TO COME BACK, NEXT TIME DONT STAY GONE SO LONG.
