Hulk Hogan Walks In The Light Of Christ
Remember when Hulk Hogan said he totally understood OJ? Here's a refresher:
“I could have turned everything into a crime scene, like O.J., cutting everybody’s throat,” he said. “You live half a mile from the 20,000-square-foot home you can’t go to anymore, you’re driving through downtown Clearwater and see a 19-year-old boy driving your Escalade, and you know that a 19-year-old boy is sleeping in your bed, with your wife… I totally understand O.J. I get it.”
Well, Brooke Hogan has finally opened up about her father's infamous quote and says he could never do such a thing. It was all taken out of context.
“I was actually in the kitchen with him and the Rolling Stone guy when my dad was doing the interview. I was making veggie rolls or something for him when he said it. I’ll tell you exactly how he said it — he was like, ‘Dude, I understand, you could flip out. It makes you that mad. You could flip out like that.’”
“Thank god my dad, you know, is walking in the light of Christ and is a Christian man, and he would never do something like that, ever.”
“I think I told him. I said, ‘Watch them print that.”
And they did!
This poor family has fallen apart. Linda Hogan recently released a press statement via Access Hollywood saying she hasn't seen her daughter in months.
“Unfortunately it has been seven months since Linda has seen her baby
girl. All Brooke knows is what her father tells her. It’s sad when
people involve children in a divorce.“She
loves her daughter. Linda is actively not only working through the
paper intense divorce finding the rest of Hulk’s hidden assets, but
also working with her favorite charity Pink Paws For Life.”
Will the Hogans ever heal from this?

I think Brooke is old enough to make decisions for herself. And if she wants to distance herself from her mother who's dating a kid she could have popped out herself and who was friends with Nick and Brooke beforehand... so be it.
Brooke seems like a really nice girl she really does. I am sorry to hear that her relationship with her mom is strained. Right now Linda is just acting out, she got cheated on, she was publicly humiliated and she is acting out. This will pass and I wish the best for this family. No family is perfect and like the old saying 'when it rains it pours'
I don't understand why the whole comment was such a big deal anyway. He's not APPROVING of what OJ did, but saying that he can understand where that rage comes from and how someone may get pushed to that point (not pushed as in it's someone else's fault, but pushed by your own inability to deal with emotion in a rational, LEGAL way).
What OJ did was despicable, OBVIOUSLY, but I truly believe he only meant to illustrate how insane love can be and the crazy emotions it can unleash. Was it stupid to say in an interview? Of course. Is it worth rehashing over and over? H*ll no.

That's a horrible picture. She needs to stay out of the sun and away from her makeup bag for a while. Also, the last time I checked she is an adult and can choose to see her mother if she wants too. I guess her mother sleeping with her classmate doesn't agree with Brooke?
If my 50-year old mom dates a 19-year old, I'd cut her off too. Would Linda be happy if their son Nick dates a 50-year old woman? And plus that's not the only reason why Brooke is mad at her. She said in an interview in the past that her mom manipulated her and convinced her to testify that Hulk was abusive. Then she did testify and found out later that it was all a lie.
Honestly, if you love someone unconditionally, why would you cut them out of your life because you disagree with the age or race or religion of their chosen partner? What kind of love is that? None I'd want, that's for sure. If you don't like the person your kid or parent is dating you should suck it up as long as there is no real harm being done. And by harm, I don't mean that your pride or prejudices are merely being offended. It's not like Linda took off with some baby raper. He's just a younger guy and they are both adults. People are so lame.

Sorry, I'd be a little disgusted with my mom if I were in my early twenties and, after breaking up with my father she decided to date and parade one of my high school classmates as her lover. Tell me you honestly wouldn't have a problem with that?
Having 'a problem' with it wouldn't make me cut my mom out of my life. It's not like the guy is someone Brooke used to screw. I wouldn't expect my mom to cut me out of her life just because she didn't approve of my choice in men. No one seems to have as big an issue with Hulk banging a much, much younger woman who looks like a dead ringer for his own kid. No, it's always the woman who is the villian.

First of all HORRIBLE pic of Brooke!! She looks so much prettier when she looks natural and less make up! I think her mom is giving her makeup tips!! Secondly-the comment is not that big of a deal-has anyone ever been so angry and hurt in a breakup?? I mean the poor man cant even go into his own house but his ex wifes boyfriend is driving his car?? Of course you would say stuff you didnt mean! But they all are to blame, divorce is not easy. I live in the Tampa Bay area and this family is all big news here. Its just a tough thing to go through and the greed/tragedies/selfishness just drags it on!
Their children aren't "children", they're adults and can make up their own minds about their parents. Unfortunately for them, both their parents are self-centered idiots, so they don't have any good choices between the two.
