Rob Pattinson Lands Role Alongside Rachel Weisz And Hugh Jackman

I remember reading about Rob Pattinson and Hugh Jackman going to a kareoke bar together. So maybe that's how they sealed the deal. :P

Rob and Hugh, along with Rachel Weisz, are set to star in a movie called 'Unbound Captives.'  The first-time director is Madeleine Stowe, who actually wrote the script. A few years ago she was offered $5 million dollars for the script, but Fox wouldn't guarantee her any other job outside being a script writer and Madeleine wanted to star in the movie or direct.

She would have played a woman (now to be played by Weisz) whose husband is killed and her two children kidnapped by a Comanche war party in 1859. She is rescued by a frontiersman, to be played by Jackman. Pattinson will play the son.

Turning down a $5 million dollar deal must have been SO scary, but in the long run, it paid off. Madeleine held out and has a dream cast on board now! The woman must have some kind of magic in her touch, because she signed Rob on before Twilight even broke.
