RUMOR HAS IT that Gwyneth Paltrow is jealous of the attention Scarlett Johansson is
receiving of the set of their latest movie.
The ‘Shakespeare in Love’ actress is said to be annoyed with her ‘Iron Man
2′ co-star’s attitude leading to a frosty atmosphere between the two screen
beauties.
“Gwyneth has become very frustrated with Scarlett. They come
from different worlds and have completely different styles. Gwyneth has found Scarlett very demanding for the attention of the crew.
It’s not a happy set.”
Gwyneth – who reprises her role as Pepper Potts in the superhero movie,
based on the Marvel comic book series – is also said to be upset producers
decided to cast 24-year-old Scarlett in the part of sexy former spy Natasha
Romanoff.
The source added to Britain’s The Sun newspaper:
“Gwyneth and Scarlett have
never been particularly close. Gwyneth was looking forward to working with
Emily Blunt, who was originally in line for the part, but it ended up being
Scarlett.“Gwyneth’s had to live with that and she has been very professional, but she
and Scarlett haven’t developed a friendship on the shoot, which is almost at
the halfway point.”
Gwyneth, 36, has now taken a break from filming to join her husband Chris
Martin as he continues to tour the US with his band Coldplay.
Once she returns, the mother-of-two will shoot the movie’s main action
scenes, something she is looking forward to.

It sounds like more a matter of maturity than jealousy. If this story is true, then Gwyneth might have reason to be upset. I have nothing against either woman, sometimes women just don’t get along…
I can totally picture Gwyneth being friends with Emily. but Scarlett never striked me as the “attention demanding” actress…

The real problem on the set is – Scarlett is 24 years old and sexy beautiful! And Gwyneth is 36, twelve years Scarlett’s senior and just average cute!
hello? of course she’s jealous. Gwyneth was once very popular -when she was dating the right people anyway lol. Now she’s considered so boring as an actress and as a celebrity, and she goes on to take small boring roles in big movies, trying to make a comeback. Then comes Scarlett the new, young, hot everything-but-boring girl in Hollywood to appear next to her in the same movie, stealing her thunder. Come on! Would you be jealous?
